View Full Version : Possible move.....?!
This is just a rumour, so please don't quote me on any of this!!
I was away at the weekend and I got several phonecalls from friends saying that they'd seen a thing in the paper that Meat was moving up here to the North East, to a place called Wynyard Park which is a massive estate where quite a few football players and other singers live - pretty high security.
I totally dismissed it, then when I got home I got a phonecall from my uncle - who is a security guard at Wynyard Park and apparently Meat has indeed been looking at houses there...
Like I say, this certainly isn't official or anything, but that's what I've been told. So I could quite possibly have Meat living 6 miles away from my house lol
Can i come and live with you, Lucy???? :P

and me...... and everyone on the forum
Send me details of your local hospitals I'll apply for a new job right away, hell of a way for me to commute though.

Very cool !!
But please correct me if I'm wrong, didn't I read someplace that the place in the UK would be just a vacation residence, and he would also be keeping his main residence in California? It seems like that would make more sense since he'll be concentrating on his acting :)

I would absolutely think that any property ML buys in the UK would be strictly a vacation and/or investment property. If he is to focus on his acting career, then Los Angeles is the place to be. I also can't imagine him moving "full time" to the UK when his daughters careers are just starting to take off in the US. Just my opinion, but I think it's pretty valid.

Yes ... I think your opinion is valid. Definitely it wouldn't make sense for him to move there full time right now .... but I guess we'll have to be willing to share him, eh?

Much as it pains me to post a link to Dean ~~~~~~~~~~'s website, he claims to have taken pics of Meat's house under construction.
http://www.dean~~~~~~~~~~.co.uk/press_releases.htm
What's the deal with this Dean ~~~~~~~~~~? Is there some history? Is he nasty?!
Forgive my ignorance if it's obvious!

What I meant was that, as I am the Peat Loaf webmaster, I shouldn't really be posting a link to another ML tribute site 8O

The story on Dean's site about Meat having a house built in Wolvistion is the original story I heard from a friend, then I got my phone call from my uncle to say it was Wynyard Park - which to be honest, I'm more swaed to believe - total confussion now!
Well if there IS a house earmarked and it's location/pictures are bandied around the internet so it becomes a gawping spot for people I wouldn't be surprised if it were dropped like a hot cake !! .. And as to anyone posting pictures of it .. well ((

If you look at the article Dean clearly says that the pics are copyrighted and are not to be used on other sites. When it comes to posting pics that are offensive and intrusive you win hands down, your picture of meat as a firefighter upset many of meats fans, it was in very bad taste and many people here made their feelings known. Clearly a case of pot calling the kettle.
There's a difference between 'copyrighting' a picture and/or making it publically available by posting it on a website which is basically an advertisment.
You'd better watch out, because your post is basically off topic and "clearly a case of pot calling the kettle".

Bruce,
I don't want this to be another Fight Club topic.
Caryl's picture is Off Topic, the rest is fine.
