This is to be my very first Meat concert in December. Having joined I have noticed that there are some lang-time fans here and I was wondering if any of you could give me any info like who will be supporting Meat. I heard a rumour that it was Cyndi Lauper, not sure if thats true though. Thanks Very much
All the best.

No, Cyndi Lauper and Meat did some concerts together in US before the tour started. In Germany the excellent band "The Darkness" supported him, over here it will either be Kasim Sulton (a member of the band) or just straight into Meat!

Yeah I agree with you there the Darkness are excellent. I cant believe it could possibly go straight into Meat though, that would be great. I don't mind support acts, but I was at a concert once (also at the Odyssey arena) and they put on so many support acts I thought we were never going to see the band we came to see, so it would be a nice change!
thanks very much for letting me know :D

Sorry but I donīt agree, in Munich " the Darkness" was terrible....
the most of the Munich concert visitors were lucky as the band walk away.-.... It was awful.... and to loud.....All visitors were on the way to become a hearing defect..... 8O :?
So everybody has his own music taste...... goooood so

I don't think anyone can go to a Meat Loaf gig and find ANYTHING too loud!!! :)

The Darkness are a new band from the UK.
The gigs in germany were, i believe, the first that they have done abroad!!

I'd just like to say that I went to wembley arena on monday night and saw it when meat loaf collapsed and there was confusion all around because i feel the staff at wembley arena were not upto standard. i feel that meat did his best he could and was awesome for the songs he did and all of us love him for that but i think that the agitation from a few fans could have been controlled by the staff at wembley.
I think that the true fans out there just want meat to come back after a full recovery and i want that more than anything!!! Hope meat gets better soon!!!!!
Meat Loaf is a LEGEND
Meat Loaf will ALWAYS be a LEGEND
Dan :D :D
Get well soon!!! :)

Hi everyone, as this is Meats last tour I thought I'd try to see him at the stage door when he does his sound check in the afternoon. Anyone any idea what time he usually appears for it? :D

that depends on security
I thought the Darkness was horrible in Oberhausen aswell.
Eventhough i, well, like their music as played on tv and radio, I thought they sounded dreadfull live. Maybe it was the speakers or mic settings, don't know.
I also think most off the audience didn't like them, hardly any responce to them at all.
