Meat gets a mention in the new movie, Love Actually - something about rock stars getting laid - its along the lines of... "Well, even Meat Loaf must've got laid once..." Hmm... writers obviously unaware of the mans Sex God status! Its an alright movie, just nice to watch :)

Take care
Ewan :)

I think Meat seriously needs to have a word with Richard Curtis! I think Richard has some sort of problem with him! In Bean, the movie, there's a line where the curator's saying of Bean "OK, so he's gonna look like Meat Loaf's butt!" cos his daughter's being awkward and saying all English men are ugly. Then there;s Notting Hill when Hugh and Julia are talking about breasts, and Hugh says "Well, more than every other person in the world has a pair. I mean, Meat Loaf has a nice pair."
Coem on, Richard, get some new material! Lay off of our Meat or there'll be hell to pay  I think this new ref. to Meat shows just how much Curtis is losing his touch  Surely there's someone else he can use?
One of my friends at school had seen it, and I suddenly remembered Curtis wrote it, so I asked if there was another jibe at Meat. She said yes, but couldn't remember what it was.

Ah, a running gag. Coolness.

And wasn't Hugh Grant in Love Actually? He's one (if not the) of my favorite actors.

I haven't seen love actually yet. If any of you have seen Bo'Selecta first series. Meat is in that at some sort of a mult star concert. And Avid is trying to talk to them and Meat sings a song about Dannii Minogues knickers and wanting to get laid along to the tune of I would do anything for love

I think its funny if actors talk about Meat in a movie. Don't matter hwat they say, its greaat that they mention him and make jokes about it.

This may seem a liitle strange, but if Richard Curtis takes the piss, it could mean that he actually likes him a lot. Why else would he mention him so much?

Mmm, maybe...........If that is the case I apologise to Richard Curtis (was watching Blackadder last night, actually!). Curtis could be taking off "Hey Arnold", where Helga really likes ARnold but she shows it by being mean to him.?!

David Cassidy is mentioned in Curtis Films too. If I had Meatloaf and David in the room at the same time I'd have problems deciding which to jump first, David because he's just so dam cute or Meat beacause he's so passionate & sexy Nope no contest really Meat eerytime!!!
