Me too:-) infact i'm a Meat fan because of Bon Jovi or Richie Sambora anyway. Kasim playing Bass for Richie was the start of Meat for me lol.

Yeah, I found some really nice comments on a Dutch newsforum (FOK) too, and also on a Blog of a Dutch DJ.
A lot of respect for Meat, really very nice to read.

I do like Bon Jovi. also Whitesnake, but obviously my first love of music, has to be Meat's. :D

Now just taken the dog for a run & had bad attitude cd playing. Now back home chilling & playing Bat 2. I very tire of his music. :D

I think if you are a meat fan then soft rock appeals. I ve seen Whitesnake twice and they are awesome, also Status Quo whose show was more like a big party!

In my younger days I was into Iron maiden but find them too heavy now, even though my hubby likes em and I will still listen to em with him.

I would very much like to see Bon Jovi as I think Jon is gorgeous and he sings beautifully (not as gorgeous as Meat tho). Just might have to go see them on their next tour. Anyone know when this is?

I can never listen to more than one Meat Loaf album in one sitting. I feel it takes too much out of you, if you're listening to it properly of course.

I like Bon Jovi also. I was once on a concert of him. At that time I thought it was great, but after being to a Meat show...
I think noone interacts so much with the audience and shows so much fun on stage
Meat simply is the Best!

Bon Jovi have just finished their 'Bounce' tour a couple of months ago. They released an acoustic album called This Left Feels Right, which is crap, anyway they probably won't tour until 2005.

Jons very pretty but I think Richie is by far the most handsome :) I love Meat but don't actually fancy him (sorry lol ) now Randy Flowers is another matter lol.. Although I'm sure i'm far older than him  John Miceli is rather cute as well in a teddy bear sort of way :) And of course theres then the lovely Mr Sulton :D

It is okay Deb, but quess what? I am going to visit my friend next weekend, and we are going to take a side trip to Pinch, West Virginia (the REAL home of Randy Flowers). I will let y'all know how that goes. Pinch is only about a half hour to an hour from me. It is such a small world. Mom can vividly remember seeing Pinch play at a local fair or something, but she was very familiar with a song or two from the CD they put out.

Ummm...place? Possibly, but not much of one. It is a small town near Charleston, WV (the capital of the state of West Virginia). It is very rural in nature, as is where I live.

I know it is not much of a website, but will give you a general "feel" for the place.

I'm also a fan of Bon Jovi, and I believe Meat and Jon are also friends. I know in a couple of interviews Meat has mentioned him and conversations they have had together.

Also, on a side point, Jon had some very similar experiences during his career to Meat, if you know what I mean.

Yep Jon and Meat are friends. My friend Kat once asked Meat something about Jon (brain cells are failing a bit now days lol, so can't remember exact details) and he said they were friends and he'd let him open for him lol. Sure Jon would love that  would be cool though lol.

***SELF CENSORED: Afraid to post what I really wanna say for fear of being verbally abuse. It is nice we have a forum where we now have to walk on egg shells 24/7.***

Simple fact is, Ryan did not ask us for anything, yet shouts he cannot get anything out of us. Ryan, maybe if you ask, you might get the goods (and in abundance).

Going slightly off topic here, but it sounds like you guys enjoy going there just to wind up fans.
What's the point :? .
I wouldn't appreciate people visiting these forums to just to piss people off, and I imagine that people on the Bon Jovi board would feel the same way  .

No Mouse, I don't wind up the Bon Jovi fans. Only if they start making silly comparisons to Bruce and Jon. As for the rest of the board I'm on my best behaviour. Just wanted to make myself clear on this one.

I don't. Go there just to piss people off that is. :? I just asked what name Christine posted in and if she'd had any run ins with the infamous MB of Jovi world. If you knew her, you'd understand. Hmmm me see's another case of words not being seen as they were wrote. Can't speak for Christine but thats not what I mean't at all. I haven't got time for the real stuff in the world, let alone to deliberately want to wind someone up.

if you'd ever visited BSWJBJ you would understand why I made the "try telling the die hards that" comment. I count myself as a die hard Bon Jovi fan, so what I actually mean't if i'd had time to chose my words more carefully (which me thinks I must start doing) was try telling those at BSWJBJ (not all of them of course, just certain ones, which if you went there, you'd understand) I said it to Christine because she does understand if she's been there. BSWJBJ is a fanclub run by Jons mum. No one is allowed to say anything in anyway shape or form that doesn't make the sun shine out of Jons bottom. If you do, its deleted. Only happy happy talk is allowed over there. Off hand I can't think of an example, but It's pretty unbelieveable over there (If a lot of you think saying how you feel here is hard, this is a walk in the park compared to there :D

there are other Bon Jovi boards that are far more friendlier places though

Deb (who hopes she said that right)

Very recently I visited a NZ dating site and found a thread discussing the two upcoming NZ concerts. They were mostly positive and some very complimentary. It's great to read comments about Meat in a place where he's not in the news much or tours much.

For me, their left is getting to feel better. It took a lot of getting used to, but now I'm starting to really like it.
