My wonderful husband (Tbuck) has decided to take me to London for the January Wembley shows! We always take a winter vacation and this year he decided London was the place to go!
Just thought I would warn everyone across the pond the Bucks will be descending on your magnificent isle.
Can't wait to see the sites and shows,

Well, you have to keep the wife happy, right?
So looking foward to this. We've always wanted to go to London, just accelerated the schedule, for good reasons. :D
Don't know diddly about London, but I'm expecting we will have a great time. Is this Wembley place a small, intimate affair or a larger joint?

Deb
Deb,
Chilly there? Well it has to beat Illinois that time of year. Mexico is our usuall choice to escape. But we will have a great rocking show to warm us up in London!
I know our family and friends will think we are nuts. But you only go around once in life...unless you're Shirley MacLaine!

:D Terry and Jules. You will have a great time over here, especially in London, we wioll make you welcome and warm you up. Rosie is right meet in the Bar at Wembley, that's where some of us are going.
J & T!!!!
You both should be certified as unhealthy, obsessed lunatic, sycophantic, sad people having withdrawal symptoms on your third bottle of gin for thinking this is a good idea!!! HEE HEE!!! Seriously, and the fact that the thought police almost had me talked into thinking this was a good idea as well is crazy!!! HEE HEE!!! All I can say is make sure to pack up your Meat Loaf shower gel and toothpaste when you go!!!
:D :D YOU SUCK!!! :D :D
:D :D J O K I N G !!! :D :D
Seriously, I could not be any more excited and thrilled for the two of you. I would be there with you, if I were not being responsible for once in my life. Y'all need to do some heavy research for me. If Meat Loaf comes back to the UK this summer, I will be there!!! It should be killing me to not be going with you, but I will make it over there soon enough!
To all of the people in the UK, make sure to say hello to T & J while they are there. I am sending TONS of hugs and kisses with them to give to all of you. I love you all and it aches me greatly to be at such a great physical distance from you. Rock on my friends & be good to yourselves and each other!!!
ROCK ON MEAT FANS!!!
Well, if Meat doesn't come to the Netherlands summer 2004, I might go to one of the UK concerts too ( preferable one where I don't have to sit. )
I'm still hoping he'll do a show in Holland though. :)

All right, this sounds great!!! The Arena Bar it is.
We'll just ask at the bar where the craziest group of Meat Loaf fans is sitting in there.
Will be wonderful to meet you all in the flesh. Methinks this is going to be lotsa, lotsa FUN!
T

Can't wait to meet up with everyone on the 22nd of January, but I'm concerned that Dottie will be spending a month at the bar! I certainly hope Rosie and Mickey can keep her company. :D :D :D
HA HA HEE HEE Dave! And a HO HO too!

Would he go to Amsterdam? As we holiday there a lot. A lot of you seem to come from Holland, so it would be good if I saw someone off here on there to help me convert my non meat believer boyfriend.

Forget convert, we'd brainwash the poor guy
The promo-concert was in Amsterdam. But the tourconcerts were in Rotterdam each tour, In Ahoy.
The Arena Bar upstairs is roping off a section for us all at approximately 5.30pm, Um is that to keep us all in, or all the others out
Plane tickets and show tickets have arrived, hotel is booked and we are learning the "Tube" from a map. Anyone have any "must see" sites in London? We are looking for suggestions, just to make sure we don't miss anything!

Buckingham Palace, Changing of the Guard
St Pauls Cathedral .. Whispering Gallery

Fortnum and Mason Food Department
Paxton's Cheese Shop in Jermyn Street (parallel to Piccadilly the street is home of top tailors)

A pub lunch for sausage and mash or steak and kidney pie (leave the kidney if it offends you, but it will be the best tasting steak pie you've ever sampled)
Flanagans in Baker Street for the best fish and chips in the UK served in traditional Edwardian style
Cathay Chinese Restaurant (just off Piccadilly, and London's oldest)
St John's Wood Curry House .. Indian all you can eat buffet

:??:
You're welcome .. and if there's one at the top of my list it would be Flanagans .. styled as an Edwardian oyster house, both seating, sawdust on the floor, and the waiting staff in Edwardian costume .. they serve the best fish and chips you'll ever experience :)
