View Full Version : Two versions of "BAD ATTITUDE"
Hi !
I don't know if all fans have knowledge about this:
There are two different versions of the album "BAD ATTITUDE" avaiable:
The european and the US-Version. On US-album there are other mixes, partly with different running times and other endings.
You can't see any differences in booklet, on cover or backside. So you have to search for the US-version issued on MCA-Records, the EU-version issued on ARISTA-Records.

And Is Nothing Sacred has 2 versions too. On tape and on CD are different!

My "Bad Attitude" cassette is very different to the mixes on the cd, and the producing credit goes to Meat Loaf, Paul Jacobs and Mack - whereas the tape says Alan Shacklock. I'm confused. And what is this I hear about "Is Nothing Sacred"? I didn't know you could get "Very Best of Meat Loaf" on cassette... I wonder if you can get an LP as well?

Yes I didn't think the Very best of Meat was available on Cassette either.
Perhaps they mean the versiion on Storytellers. Is Storytellers available on Cassette? Maybe the "single" version is mixed differently on the Storytellers cassette than on the CD...

The "Very Best Of" version of Is Nothing Sacred is a solo version. The single version, released in the UK in 1998 was a duet with the lovely Patricia Russo (you may have heard of her ;))
I have both, naturally! :)

I believe that on the cassette version, the outro was cut off. Not sure, 'cause I never heard it :)

There are only a few differents in the songs. On cassette you don't hear the last symphonic part and some lines are shorter, others longer!

 Intro = Music before the lyrics start.
Outro=Music after the lyrics finish.
Bat has no outro because he sings right at the end of the track.
Life Is A Lemon has a big outro because the end is a long instrumental.
