 Hi folks.
Pretty pretty please can we have a general agreement to avoid making single words too long?
For instance NOOOOOOOOOOO + 50 x O's.
or
YYYYYYYYAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY + 75 y's.
It's not that I have anything against long versions of small words, it's just that the way the forums work doing this makes the page twice as long as usual, so it takes much longer to read a post because you have to scroll backwards and forwards.Elongating words isn't a problem unless too many letters are used. Then it becomes a bit of a pain :(
It's happened a few times, and I know that nobody does this to be irritating, but it can be a bit annoying.
I must admit that in the past when someone has done this i've deleted a couple of dozen O's and it doesn't make any difference to the message.
So what do you say?
No more 100 letter words (15 O's are plenty  ), or at least press the enter key now and again to keep the forum page to the right width
