View Full Version : Forum Changes
(1) You may no longer change your username after this weekend, as I am about to disable this feature.
(2) New rule: No multiple useraccounts. Registering secondary accounts will result in an instant ban of all registered accounts. Only exception are the multiple accounts which are registered so far. It's possible that these accounts will get locked.
There will be some more changes in the near future.

R.
I have a question, my daughter is a Meat Loaf fan as well and is 23 years old however she does still live at home and I have been trying to get here to participate in the MLUKC forum converstaions if she was to get her own account under her own name since we have the same ISP would that be considered a multiple account? :??:
Thanks,
~Autumn~

No. That'll be no problem. 8)
You may have noticed that I'm trying to tighten things up a little bit. With regard to that, I might be forced to disallow email-addresses that are well-known to be acquired easily, ie xyz@hotmail.com. If you have registered previously with a hotmail.com or similiar account, it may be a wise decision to change this addy to a more reliable different one.
To be precise: I am not asking you to change your xyz@hotmail.com email address right now.
All I'm saying is that I might have do that in the near future. This is just a message to inform you so that don't get locked out by accident.
And yes, the email address entered in your profile is protected against spam.
And what about those of us who only have Hotmail email addresses?

That answers my qustion then  both my kids are registered but they have hotmail accounts mines a lycos account.
Could we all register using the one othr email account that we have with our ISP? But that would mean the three of us registering with the one email account as I can't remember how to set up others with the ISP

Make it BOOH & I'll gladly give it a go :lmao:
Seriously though, hope these changes and suggestions work to keep out the people who want to cause trouble.

So if i got it correctly... in the future you can't have a Hotmail account if you want staying here and surfing on this forum???
Yes Tim, I'm afraid that's what's going to happen.
I've had 41 bounced mail messages from hotmail accounts just today because of non-existant/deleted accounts.
That puts unecessary workload on the server and spams my mailboxes.
1st step is that we will not accept any registration with hotmail accounts anymore.
This doesn't affect already registered users.
Edit:
You can have as many hotmail accounts as you like, you just cannot use a hotmail account for registering here.
