(The only thing that could top is would be an additional US leg of the tour- any news of that?) I may not have been at the recent UK shows, but Thank YOU Meat for the four shows I did get to see here in the US! Also, for taking time in the airport in Cleveland back in September to chat for a minute.

meat there is no need to thank us. we should be thanking you. you went on stage even though u were really sick. u gave it your all even though u were not feeling well. you put up with the people who are ignorant to put u down. u always came back. i thank you for that . your music is an inspiration to me . not just the music but the words and the feelings u put into them. there isn't a day that goes by that i don't listen to one of your cd's. you helped me when my mom and brother passed away. without you i wouldn't be here today. tears flow from my eyes as i write this . u are wonderful. one day i hopefully will be able to shake your hand and pat u on the back and say thank you,thank you for everything u have done for me. i have waited 25 years so i can wait , its hard but i can . never stop rocking meat , because i will never stop listening

We understand you were i'll but you fought on up on a stage for hours, and threw out outstanding performances nevertheless and that i'm sure makes peoples respect for you grow. It did in my case.

What else is there to say thats not already been said here?

I was there at all 3 sheffield shows and I am still dreaming about them! My feet are 3 feet off the ground!

Your were, are and always will be wonderful. I have already put my order in for BAT3 so come on before I drive the man in the CD shop mad with it!

For the past 24 years your music has got me thru many ups and downs in my life and i know it will carry on doing that.

Thank you also for waiting in the door way on thursday at the Meet and Greet for me to take your photo, this meant so much to me.

I'm saving like crazy just in case you come back in the summer like its rumoured, I have to be there come hell or high water.

We all love you so much here and want you to continue visiting us. What about a web chat? That would just finish off the tour for us.

I went to the shows because when I heard the first cords of BOOH in the late '70's I was mesmerised. After that your music stuck with me and my family seeing us through the good and through the bad :wink:
The joy your music has given me is thanks enough. You can obviously see for yourself by the posts we make here that we have supported you in many different ways, as you describe, and for me this was my "payback" to you.
All I have ever wanted is for you to be fit and able to enjoy what you are doing, and I have never minded waiting for that. I believe this is what I saw at the shows I went to.
You, IMO are a true professional entertainer, a superb artist and a true gent.

We the fans on this site are in the vast majority who really appreciate what has happened on this tour. We've seen 4 shows, two before Christmas and two after and they were all great however Sheffield 15 January wow....just fantastic. We loved meeting you and you were so good giving up your time to meet us, we'll not forget it.

Please remember your true fans are here, we defend you because you are a real star not a 5 minute wonder. There are very few people who can fill arenas for 25 years and you are one of them, why because you give everything. We appreciate it.

Now just one piece of advice, please look after yourself healthwise. Oh 2 pieces of advice, when in Australia it's common practice if you wish to endear yourself to the population to ask them who won the Rugby World Cup!

Take care and please will you tell us how the concerts downunder are going?

Although some of us don't agree at some points concerning 'attitude' and stuff like that i must admit that i've had a jolly good time during the four shows i attended. I guess, end of the line is that we've all got one thing in common and that's the love for the music made by you. And that's what matters. Best night to remember? Well, believe it or not. Sick and tired in Berlin and i really assumed Oberhausen the next day would be cancelled due to that. Hell it wasn't. Big surprise and the show. Couldn't believe my eyes and i refused to believe my ears. Amazing, pure magic.

Difficult to know what else I can add. Everyone else has said it so well.

What a lovely post Meat, but as others have said, there is no need to thank us at all. I personally have loved your music for over 20 years and if our support can give back a fraction of what you have given us then it goes someway to thank you. I hope everyone agrees with that.

I have seen you live several times. Each time has been fantastic. What a wonderful voice and such passion for the songs.

Meat.....all I can say is that your a saint, to do what you do, nearly every other night! I mean I did what you did and I understand what you mean by performing 110%, but it was one song and it was one night!!! I was nackered!!!!!!!!

just wanted to say that without you i might not be where i am now. your songs gave me the strength to fight for my girlfriend, to find a solution to most of my problems. your fans in germany (www.meatloaf-fanclub.de) also helped me alot, but without singing your songs, i may would have been broken down. theres just one thing i´d really like you to do. can you please arrange to make a concert in AUSTRIA, europe? i don´t know how many fans there are in our country, i know only 20 or so, but i don´t have the possibility to travel in other countries, because i´m only 15 now. and please don´t stop singing and touring, at least not before i´ve seen you live. that is one of my greatest wishes, to see my idol life and maybe get an autogramm from him.

please keep it up, for all of us!

I don't wanna start a riot here (and I DO believe that Fireball is Meat [usually]) but there is a stark difference between this post of Meats and all his others - grammatically perfect, no spelling mistakes.....

I'm sure Meat does thank us etc etc but I'm not convinced this post was typed by him

I think it is possible that this was typed by Meat as I have only seen him not type mistakes on this forum but if you look here (http://www.activeboard.com/forum.spark?forumID=16101&subForumID=25584&action=viewTopic&commentID=312196&abKey=3557209773284c83ad764127d12ed57b) you will see it is similar and this was posted by Meat.

at the end of the day he isnt out on the road on his own, the report on his heart surgery was typed by someone else so could another post . It doesnt matter if he types it or if Deborah types it or whoever, its under fireball so its coming from him in some form.

Just my opinion but this post looks and feels (to me) like Meat typed it himself - the ones with typos were when, I think, he came on here tired and aggravated and just hammered them out and hit "submit" - anyway, we all have a "speaking voice" vs. a "writing voice" which can be really different.
