I've been unable to access ask jeeves, google etc., for a couple of days, is it me or are they down?

Both Ask Jeeves (http://www.ask.co.uk) and Google UK (http://www.google.co.uk) work fine for me!!

Any site saved in favourites opens immediately, if I type address in as above :o error message comes back up again :o
