Well what can I say....the Man was Fab :D

An absolute Genius on Guitar, no other words can describe him.
Played a few well known songs, Wonderful 2nite, Layla but mostly Blues songs. A lot of old stuff but absolutely fantastic.

What more can I say 8O , apart from, Meat should tout him to play Guitar  .......now how would that sound :?

Thanks for the outline review Gerry,
looking forward to Thursday.

Like other contributors I tried to play Clapton's stuff in the late 60's early 70's, needless to say my ambitions foundered!

Never mind EC awaits.

So whats the low-down on the concert Mike :?

Mike Piercy

Sorry for being so late gerry

It was a wonderful concert. EC on top form, a mixed set of blues and rock, old favourites from the Cream / Derek and the Doninoes days and his solo records. Excellent band included Billy Preston, Chris Stainton, Doyle Bramhall.

Terrific support act - Robert Randolph and the Family Band.

A thoroughly memorable night - "Clapton is God!"

Okay so I'm learning 'Sunshine Of Your Love' on both guitar and bass, you know I could have one of them double ones and when I get fed up of playing start playing the other :lmao:
