HA! I thought that would draw you in - Right, now i've re-written my musical, i wont be scripting till after the summer exams - there's now more of a storyline, but i really would love to stage this!! :D Any POSITIVE comments welcome. Thank-you

ACT ONE

SCENE 1: OVERTURE: Bat Overture. Beside a lake in Florida. Mavin & Martha are in the back of a car. Paradise By the Dashboard Light is played. The two teenagers talk and Martha tells Marvin she doesn’t ‘like’ him, by singing 2/3. Martha leaves.

SCENE 2: Keith’s Bar. Marvin walks in and talks to Keith. A girl (Patti) suddenly walks in. Marvin likes her. They perform ‘Dead Ringer For Love’. Patti must go, but they say they’ll meet again at the auditions for the band tomorrow. McCoy, another character hiding in the shadows, is jealous of Marvin. He is determined to get his ex-girlfriend back. He sings ‘Anything For Love’.

SCENE 3: Martha was still in Orlando. We see her at the Wal-Mart (at night) talking to McCoy. McCoy tells her about losing Patti. They talk for a while (revealing some vital plot points) and both want revenge on Marvin. They sing ‘A Kiss is A terrible Thing To Waste’, followed by ‘I’d Lie For You’…

SCENE 4: A restaurant. Marvin and Patti sit down. Marvin asks Patti ‘On a hot summer night will you offer your throat to the wolf with the red roses?’ He sings ‘Took The Words’.

SCENE 5: McCoy introduces Patti to his friends at his apartment. There are Johan, Bella and three others. They chat about their plan and decide to kill Marvin. ‘Razor’s Edge’ is performed, as is ‘Bat Out Of Hell’

SCENE 6: Cut back to outside restaurant. Marvin sings ‘Objects (The Kenny Verse)’, and Patti says it’s terrible what happened. They then talk. BLACKOUT during MAKEOUT SCENE (Okay, here we go, we got a real pressure cooker going here…)

ACT TWO

-- NOTE: there are a couple of scenes to go here - ill write them later --

SCENE 1: The local park. A dance sequence to ‘Do It!’ McCoy is a member of the Tribe of the Pythia. These people worship the Ancient Pythia, who, on his motorbike (you’ll get an explanation in the final script), defeated the evil Bat who came out of Hell. They plan to use shoot Marvin.

SCENE 2: Keith’s Bar. Keith has a copy of the Orlando Reporter. The main headline is ‘MAN WITH GUN SPOTTED DOWNTOWN’. The police are in asking questions. Marvin says he saw a truck down by the harbour. The police take down his details, but for now, the auditions are his first worry. Ben Saunders, the manager of the new band, The Neverland Express, arrives, and Patti & Marvin perform ‘Couldn’t Have Said It Better’. Ben likes the performance, and accepts the pair of them. McCoy’s gang comes in, however, and kidnaps Patti.

SCENE 4: Patti & McCoy do ‘Let Me Sleep On It (With McCoy singing ‘STOP RIGHT THERE!) Martha finds out she’s been dumped. Mike & Marvin are outside, ready to rescue. They jump in and rescue Patti. The gang (Johan, Bella etc) try to help McCoy, but he ends up falling off a beam and dying. The police arrive and arrest the gang Marvin proposes to Patti and there’s a reprise of ‘I’d Lie For You’.

SCENE 5: A gig. Basically the bows, with Marvin & Patti performing ‘Praying For the End of Time’ on stage.

Sounds great!! Lol, I wrote a meat musical too....the script isn't finished....i don't think it will be either.

It's called "Not a Dry eye in the house"!! It's really pretty dodgy and i havn't got the ending. I'll post it up here soon.
