From experience us men could ask you women the same question, but I@m not bitter and twisted oh nno, I trust her, 16 years ago she said she'd call, and I know that one day she'll be true to her word.

men (or women) who do say this though and don't actually ring, have either got

1) no guts to tell the truth

or

2) run over by a bus :D

Another thing is, why do men bother to tell a girl that they will call when they know they aren't going to! If they are not interested in a girl, thats fine! But why not tell her! Perhaps some don't ring because they don't want some psycho bunny boiler bothering him when he's trying to have a quiet pint with his mates and is talking about either football or football! I've been there, done that, bought the T-shirt and wore the pint after I told the annoying trout that I wasn't interested.

Please don't compare yourself with what I just said though, as I'm sure you're a lovely lady :wink:

I found myself in this situation quite a number times...

we (most) of us have this thing, its not a brain, but its something that works less than a brain, and well if the game comes up, or that new record is out, we just gotta go out and see this. Or for yesterday, I went to the car show...
you see, we say we'll call, (most) of us will mean it, but we just get so pre-ocupied in the moment, we tend to forget.
That doesn't mean we (most) love you any less, its just when we get caught in the moment in something really enjoyful everything else becomes secondary.

its either that reason or (some) of us are just idiots :wink:
