In case you're not subscribed to Kasim's mailing list, he sent a message earlier today to say that he has performed (playing rythym guitar and singing) in two performances of the Billy Joel / Twyla Tharp musical Movin' Out in New York City. Kasim says that he will hopes to perform in the musical again and will post details on his site.

Kasim also says that he will be recording with Joan Jett this week.

Reading that message this AM got me in the mood to hear Billy Joel, so I've been playing his CD's all day. I have tickets to see the touring company of Movin' Out in Tampa in January- theres likely not much hope of Kasim being involved in that, but I'll enjoy it all the more knowing that he did some NYC shows of it.

Kasim wil be playing both the matinee and evening performances this coming Sunday (10th).
