Currently fuming at dh for telling me that the tesco chicken peri peri sandwich spread is hardly at all spicy. (He has half on his sandwich for work and leaves the other half in the frig for my lunch.) If I ever feel my tongue again, it will be a miracle - it was HOT!!!!! :evil:

Anyroad, I've received great news ! Ex-Monkee fave of mine Peter Tork had his tri-annual check-up and the report came back he's still cancer free ! I laughed at the great news, but REALLY laughed off a bit of my bum at the fact, rather than emailing people as a group, he did it individually and now I have email addresses of family members of his and Loaf knows who else ! And, thank Loaf, only ONE so far has hit "reply all" !

Since you're asking, I had to go to your profile to get a better look at what it is. It's a man in a top hat of some sort, right ? Is it someone in particularly? Bear with me, WarieL. All I ever learned about pop culture I learned from Howard Stern for 18 some years, but I did not go with him to satellite radio ... lol ... so I'm a bit out of it.

Sometimes avatars are a bit too busy, or when one will take a picture and downsize it to avatar size, it loses it's clarity. I've been thinking about changing mine, but when I downsize tink pictures, she ends up looking like a bit of nothing on a background. I'll continue experimenting.

Too many thoughts. Must shower now and get to the day job.

I remember a discussion we were having on a forum for (mostly ex) merchant navy sailors about some girl from Australia doing one of these sail round the world thingies at a very young age.
Most sailors in the peak of their prime would think twice before taking on that task, let alone a 14 year old going alone.
This obsession with fastest, highest, deepest, youngest, is bloody dangerous, and the "youngest" most of all because the "adults" are supposed to look after their well being, not throw them in a boat and have a launching party.

A man enters my store...dressed in an Affliction shirt/Lucky Brand Jeans kinda metro hair and a bit more than a 5 o'clock shadow. Asks to speak to the proprietor of the business...associate finds me and I speak to the man. (Usuaully I am conveniently busy for solicitors). He leads off with a quick but friendly introduction and purpose. He's going door to door promoting his CD. I asked him a few things and bought the cd (it's jazz...I normally don't "do" jazz). But, good luck to him...we know it's tough out there ;)

Unfortunately the schools' hands are tied and they can't inspect every kids hair and send the kids home until they're gone, which is what used to happen. Now you have the PC Nazi's on schools ass saying they can't touch kids heads, it PISSES ME OFF!!!

Some mother fukking parents who are too b@stard lazy to get off their fat idle arses and check their snotty little shits hair on a regular basis, so the little c*nts can't go to school and spread the creepy little friggers to the clean kids, need a good fukking ass kicking :kickass:

total nightmare,my daughter had similar problem last year,every other week the girls were coming home with them,and the kids with the lice were not being sent home,when my daughter refused to send them to school unless something was done she got into trouble,hope they get it sorted soon
