not a good day today, the 17th of november 2005 :? ..... maybe not a good month or year.. .don't know. Don't care.

I think we all remember Tim what happened at Wembley on this day in 2003, I was there, on a more personal note:-

Some things in life are bad
They can really make you mad
Other things just make you swear and curse.
When you're chewing on life's gristle
Don't grumble, give a whistle
And this'll help things turn out for the best...

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

If life seems jolly rotten
There's something you've forgotten
And that's to laugh and smile and dance and sing.
When you're feeling in the dumps
Don't be silly chumps
Just purse your lips and whistle - that's the thing.

And...always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the light side of life...

For life is quite absurd
And death's the final word
You must always face the curtain with a bow.
Forget about your sin - give the audience a grin
Enjoy it - it's your last chance anyhow.

So always look on the bright side of death
Just before you draw your terminal breath

Life's a piece of shit
When you look at it
Life's a laugh and death's a joke, it's true.
You'll see it's all a show
Keep 'em laughing as you go
Just remember that the last laugh is on you.

And always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the right side of life...
(Come on guys, cheer up!)
Always look on the bright side of life...
Always look on the bright side of life...
(Worse things happen at sea, you know.)
Always look on the bright side of life...
(I mean - what have you got to lose?)
(You know, you come from nothing - you're going back to nothing.
What have you lost? Nothing!)
Always look on the right side of life.

Hynobabe - well I have a sister in OZ, and we are in contact daily by e mail.......

I have a brother somewhere but have not seen him since April 1970, and as for my mother, I do not know even if she is still alive..

Received a Xmas card yesterday with a photograph of funeral flowers contained in it.......

It seems that my foster mother (1963 - 1968) deemed to let me let now in the best possible taste that my Uncle Steve (foster father) had died.....!!

Uncle Steve was a lovely man (shame I couldn't say that about my foster mother:twisted: and we spent many hours up his allotment when I was a lot, lot younger growing and planting, he taught me everything I know about gardening, and now I have a 100ft garden to tend, his knowledge which he passed down to me is very useful, and at least I have those memories to remember him by.....:(

another bit of good news, have finally been able under the data protection act to contact surrey county council, and have requested details of my life from 1954 through to 1968 - sounds strange doesn't it.....

I'll probably have a wait of approximately 3 weeks or more, but at the end of it I should have more information as to regards my parents, and why they gave my sister, brother and myself up, and possibly further contacts of other relatives - who knows, I totter into 2006 with a lighter heart thats for sure......

A tiny soul at peace
Within my sacred place
I can barely control myself
Until i see that face

The tiny hands, the perfect nose
Those eyes that soon will see
How very special and dear
This child will be to me :-D

[QUOTE=dottie]another bit of good news, have finally been able under the data protection act to contact surrey county council, and have requested details of my life from 1954 through to 1968 - sounds strange doesn't it.....

Received an e mail this morning from Surrey County Council - now have an official case no. and the name of the guy who will be assisting me to trace my mother, and my childhood........

Maybe the answers to my questions are a lot closer than I imagined they would be......

Well my quest is progressing faster than even I would have imagined...

received a phone call this morning the researchers have located my files in their archives....... and will be in touch very soon with regards to my viewing etc., :D

Good for you Dottie!

Grrrrrr, MD is being incredibly thick this afternoon....... driving me mad. Must be the 'man flu' (which he can keep to himself), that's causing it. If he doesn't shut up soon, I might just blow!

Thanks guys. I couldn't believe how clear the pictures come out. Yes it's a very strange sensation those kicks, not having experienced this before it's nothing like i thought it would feel a couple of nights ago i looked down at my belly to see what looked like little fists punching through every now and then  very strange (and sometimes painful) but reassuring, at least i know my baby is alive and literally kicking
