Maybe these are the stupidest questions ever asked but can anybody tell me how many DVD's has been released from ML?
And I'm just crazy about the song "Home By Now/No Matter What" but is "Home By Now" ever released as one song?

well i hope i'm not wrong with the following answers. apart from movies of course there are 3 dvd's:
Storytellers
Hits Out Of Hell
Live@Melbourne

Not too sure about home by now, though it could be part of a stage play or something like that cause it does feel like it's only an extract

Happy new year

There is also the classic albums DVD about "Bat out of Hell"

As far as I am aware "home by now/no matter what" has never been released live. However some live clips are available from :

(Hope it's okay I've posted this link???)

Happy new year to everybody! :-)

Thanks Gerard and Musicman.
I know now that I still miss 1 DVD in my collection and I had the same idea about "Home by Now", that it is maybe part of a stage play...it sure does sounds like it is.
But I really love that song.
Ofcourse it is OK that you posted that link.

"Home By Now" is part of the musical "Whistle Down The Wind (Music: Andrew Lloyd Webber / Lyrics: Jim Steinman), as are "No Matter What", and "A Kiss Is A Terrible Thing To Waste"

And that musical isn't, by any change, released on DVD?

As far as I know there is no DVD release of the show (maybe this will happen in the future, who knows). You can however pick up a 2 CD cast recording and a 1 CD best of cd which has Meat Loaf, Bonnie Tyler and a host of other popular artists perform the best songs.
(Just go to amazon and type in Whistle down the wind to find these).

I saw the stage show itself about three or four years ago in Glasgow and was good and has some funny moments. However I personally would say not that incredibly much happens on stage (unlike musicals such as Evita, Chicago or even that crazy Jerry Springer one) so with the 2 cd set you would not go far wrong.

...I think there is a Video or DVD somewhere of Meat performing a song from the Lloyd Webber musicals along with lots of other artists, think it was a birthday or an anniversary or something. Might be on that. Sorry if this is completly useless...

It's never completly useless Cathie.
Whenever I see or come across a DVD/Video from/about a musical from Andrew L. Webber I will pay more attention to it now, just in case. Thanks for taking the time to try to answer my "stupid"questions.
