My 4 year old loves to listen to Meat in the car and when "Do it" comes on, he rocks! My 7 year old is a little more into Ballads and loves "Forever Young" and "Because of you". They both so want to come with me to Chatsworth, but not much point as they wont be able to see much when everyone stands up and wouldnt hack the pace all evening.

I'm only 19. I've been wanting to see Meat for years, but Liverpool will indeed be my first ever Meat concert. I would have gone to Brighton last time he was here, but unfortunately he cancelled :(
I'm dragging my gf along too - she's 19 too, but keeps going on about how we'll be the youngest ones there. I'll let her read this thread!

I'm 17, saw Meat last year when I was 16, and I'm pretty sure I was one of the youngest people there, but that's cool with me.
I was planning on trying to go to one of the Summer gigs with my Mum as we're both depserate to see Meat again, but as the nearest one to me is 350-400 miles ish away from me, I guess I won't be going *cries*.

Yes it's a shame there is no Scottish gig as of yet! Strange tho, since Meat really seemed to enjoy the last show at Glasgow last year. No doubt he'll be back there tho soon! :-)
I was also 16 when I saw Meat the first time back in 1996. That was an awesome show, tho topped by last year's gig!

My little girl loves Do It! as well as Paradise and Original Sin! She's 6 and Meat mad! I'm going to Harewood and although I wish she could go too I think the same as you Christa, she wouldn't see anything and would probably not last the evening. Bless. :D

No doubt he'll be back there tho soon! :-)Yeah, I was at the Jan 17th gig, and he seemed to really enjoy that one, so I was really surprised there's not a Scottish date on this tour... still can't believe he pointed up to me at one point at that gig *typical starstruck teenager* :P
I'm really, really hoping he does come back to Scotland soon, because when I read all the English dates and no Scottish ones, I seriously almost cried... so many of my fave bands seem to be missing out Scotland on their tours just now and it's driving me mad!
Oh and I meant to mention earlier, one of the first songs I ever remember listening to was Bat Out Of Hell, and I must have been about 5 years old then...

Yep I was also about that age when I found my dad's Bat out of Hell record (no cds back then). I was intriged by the cover and these bizarre two guys on the back with that gorgeous platinum blonde. :-)
All this fanatical carry on started then and there for me :-).
17th of Jan last year was awesome. I loved "Did I say that". That was just fantastic!!!!
Since I saw him twice last year (and seen Meat quite a few times before) I am not too sad for myself not to be able to see him this year. I reckon he'll be back with a more extensive tour in the next few years...
You never know though there might be some last minute date added. It happens sometimes...
(Do I sense myself hinting at T in the Park on July 9th in Kincross????. Come on Meat you got a day off then anyway!) ;-)
You're right tho MissAsh, even my other favourite: Bruce Springsteen with his E street band ain't been over to Scotland since like the 80s!!! (tho he was here without his band a few times). I suppose thats why when these guys do come us Scotts go so mad!! :-)
