86?! After seeing what rubbish was in the top 20 BOOH deserved to be in at least the top 50 and probably should have replaced one of the Beatles albums in the top 15!
Only caught the top 50 due to watching 24, was anything said about BOOH by anyone interesting (such as any new comments from Jim or Meat)?

Yeah I personally think a lot of the albums of The Beatles are overrated. Great music, but I think a lot of it sounds quite dated. I prefer later renditions of their songs by other artists (Joe ****er "help from my friends", Tina Turner "Help" and Meat Loaf's "Let it Be" / "Come Together"). They have to be given credit but it's not as if ALL their albums were amazing. Some of their songs are simply louzy. NOTE THIS IS MY PERSONAL OPINION.
I am actually surprised to see Meat in that list. These crappy all time lists on Channel 4 really get up my nose at times. It's just a cheap way to fill 3 hours+ of television time if you ask me. I'd rather see a full Beatles concert! :-)
Look at that I cannot even write Joe's name on this board without it be starred out!

No! Nothing was said about Bat Out Of Hell at all, it got no more than 30 seconds of airtime, a couple of clips of Bat Out Of Hell, 2 Out Of 3 and Paradise from what I remember and no interviews.

 They didn't have a clue........ Those people wouldn't know a truly all time great album even if the BAT got up and bit them....

Ah well, guess I didn't miss anything as last night's 24 I watched in preference to 'Top 100 Albums' was really good - proper television!

Hey, it's Channel 4, what do you expect?
I agree! I switched the programme on, fully expecting to wait AGES for Meat's place in the top 10 or even 20 at the worst case scenario! Woah, 86! Not even the most illiterate music critics I know would place it there! So yet again we have to grin and recognise that Channel 4 researchers don't know their 'hats' from their elbows... ;)
If only we could blame the researchers, but we can't!
It's down to the general public who voted ... some of the same people who scarily in a few weeks time are going to the polls to vote for a new government!!!
I expected Meat to be top 10 as well and couldn't believe the little airtime Bat Out Of Hell was given- it was truly underrated. That album is way better than most of the stuff that was above it!

Well it definitely deserved to be on air for more than 30 seconds, especially when it has been in the album charts for all them years.....was it 16 years??? I forgot...but it was a long time, and deserved more time on air!!!!

I gave up and went to bed after BOOH - well, the rest was going to be rubbish, so what was the point of watching it?!!

Channel 4's format of "All time 100 ever" is really tirying I believe (Sky's is doing the same with all time mingers etc). The same as all this ITV hell's Kitchen -vote the worst one of each day by phone" carry on. There are interesting ideas and discussions in all these programs to a certain extent I believe, but I think the format is just overdone and so simple (it's also a cheap trick having to watch a 3 hour + program to find out number 1 - which usually isn't worth it). It's as if television program makers can now only use a number of formats and have to stick to it. Really stupid if you ask me.
I also think it is stupid to constantly cater for the majority (thus the number of votes for these albums). Let's have an hour long Meat Loaf special to accompany the upcoming tour instead. I'm sure most of us would not miss one of these All time programs!
What's it going to be next? "The All time Top 100 of All time top 100 programs of Channel 4 as voted by you" ?????
It's a shame as I personally feel Channel 4 used to have some great weird programs, but most of these were shoved to passed midnight slots and are now completely non existent. Suppose it's all about ad revenues these days...
I think in this instance the top 100 should have been based on the number of record sales as many have (subcounsciously) pointed out here.
