I'm learning to drive at the moment, and I've drove Dad's car a few times now: a Citroen Xsara Picasso, big car!!! Anyway, tonight I drove us to church, and the gate to the carpark is quite small. I did my best, but managed to lightly graze the right wheel arch. Only lightly!!!!! Cue Dad to go in a mood because of it. I drove home, but let Dad reverse onto the drive. Me and Mam were waiting in the lobby for Dad as neither of us had a key when we heard a crunch. Dad had managed to crash the car into the wall!!!!!!!! :lmao: Twelve years of doing that, and he crashes it the night I scrape it!!!!!! You can't tell it's been bumped unless you go up close to it, but Dad's now in a worse mood, while I feel so much better!! I won't tell him tonight though!!! :)) Brilliant!!!!!!!!!

OOOO bloody hell....thats worse than bad luck... :?

I am learning to drive too at the moment, but my parents wont let me drive our car, that is a Shogun, probobly about the same size as yours, so your parents are very kind....

I think if i did drive our car and then scratch it i dont think i would be able to drive our car again....even if i had passed my driving test

lol!
Mam tried to learn to drive from Dad, which is never a good idea. She gave up on learning. Anyway, she used to move over to the pavement whenever there was someone on it! Another time she was approaching a t-junction, and Dad told her to slow down. So naturally the car shot forward   , she took her hands off the wheel screaming, and Dad had to pull the car round on two wheels!!!!!
When one of my older brothers was learning, they were coming to a t-junction with a hedge straight ahead of them. He went into the hedge   When Dad asked what he did that for, he replied. "You didn't tell me whether to turn left or right"!
I know the feeling: driving to cinema the extra long way on Sunday that I don't know, Dad sometimes just started talking loudly to me about changing down gears ages ago when I didn't know where I was meant to be going
