Just thought I'd let you know that I was at the Embrace gig at Millenium Square in Leeds Last night and the Support band 'The Ordinary Boys' mentioned the fact that Embrace had sold the place out for 2 nights in a row whereas Meat Loaf only managed the one day!!!

Surley it was meats decission to only do one night there back in 2002, Im sure he could have sold it out 7 nights in a row had he wanted to.

The square is now not a big as it was with the encroachment of new buildings helpfully placed by forward thinking planners.

I do know Meat out sold Bryan Adams that year and UB40 cancelled due to poor ticket sales.

They are an indie band from Leeds (well hudersfield) so it was a homecoming gig for them, they had a few albums out in the late 90s and they dissapeared for a while until they came back with a album called 'Out Of Nothing' which did quite well due to the fact that Chris Martin (coldplay) wrote the 1st single.

The music is pretty good and I would recommend some of their albums.

Brighouse and they are all customers of a certain newsagent!!!!

I prefer them live rather than the albums. Especially the smaller gigs rather than the big Millenium Squre tyype ones!
