My Meat Loaf Christmas tree bauble !!
I was on a weekend break in London when I spotted it in HMV at Piccadilly Circus. So every Christmas when it's hanging on my tree it reminds me of Meat Loaf (obviously :D ) and that lovely weekend in London when I bought it.

Mine are the pics from Leeds castle - as I may not have got there :(
I will never forget Thursday 7th July 2005 - the day London was bombed & I was on me way to Kent
my limited edition Green book jacket for Meats autobiography.
I think i got it in an auction from this place years adn years ago!!
My T-shirts and my tourbooks.
Everything a have from Meat ;)
But ond special, i got a lot of LPs from him in a room at the wall, and i took a picture of it it gave it at him to watch and sign.
As he saw it, he means, that is cool and signed it.
But he turned around and signed wrong.
So i have the Lps right and the signing is wrong or i have the signing right and the Lps wrong.
its a special thing for me.
I hope you all know what i mean ?

Does anyone know where I could get ahold of a copy of the limited edition green cover of "To Hell and Back"?
I haven't a clue to be honest.
As far as i know they were the sample sleeves for the book and never got distributed. As i said, mine came from an auction on here years ago but I wouldn't know whether the folks organising it got them from.
I have never seen any for sale anywhere. I'm also intrigued as to who else owns it as i have never heard of anyone else owning one!

You're not alone Chris! My green book jacket is one of my most treasured pieces of Meat memorabilia, especially as Meat signed it for me when I attended his Storytellers concert at the Orpheum in Boston in 1999.
Several of the jackets were obtained by the MLUKFC shortly before Meat's autobiography was published in the UK ... (please don't ask, afraid we don't have any more left). If my memory is correct this was a "working" version for the UK publication but was discarded in favour of the red sleeve which was used on both sides of the Atlantic.
As far as I know only a handful have seen the light of day, making them extremely rare and highly collectable.
Did I mention that this is also a beautiful book jacket?!!! :D

Out of all my stuff t-shirts and tourbooks and such my fave is my Bat Out Of Hell picture vinyl that was signed by him when I met him in Cleveland during his '99 book signing and the pic of me and him together.

Reckon it's either my signed Hits Out Of Hell Gravestone ... wherever it is now, or perhaps the copy of the Modern Girl 12" single signed by Meat and all the band of that era (including Wells Kelly who died shortly before the Bad Attitude tour started)

Ebay have a lot of Meat Loaf things ~ just be careful though as quite a few people are selling new stuff off as "rare" and "vintage".
