Having been fortunate enough to 'see the real thing' whilst on holiday in Florida, it really is pretty spectacular.

Hey, thanks for the info!!

I actually work next to the NASA plant that builds the booster rockets so its on every available monitor in the place already.

If you followed the link straight away SLM, you should have seen the launch! Mind you the picture 'froze' for about a minute then went black (I was watching the Yahoo version). Had me a bit worried for a moment, but everything seems to have gone according to plan (well, to my untrained eye, anyway!).

Ooh, that is cool news. So the shuttle aired correctly. Think that will be a big relief for NASA. A pity i can't and couldn't see it.
