Poster's

Hi All!!

I am after a Meat Loaf poster, whether is it of an album, of him etc I just have a big space on my wall next to my collection of CD's books, DVD's and that where one would look perfect there.

If anyone knows where i can get one it would be most appreciated!! :D

ebay have really good album promo ones or just ones of meat loaf. there's a really good Very best of tour one on ebay at the moment, its just the bat 2 cover with a tour date over it. take a look there, theres one's from 70's+.

If you got a really good photograph of him from any of the concerts, take film/memory card into Jessops and ask for a poster size one! It takes a week and costs a fortune, but it's what I did and it was worth it! :D

Thanks for this, brilliant some great idea's. The photo you got blown up NeedMoreMeat is fantastic, if you dont mind me asking how much did it cost, have some good photos from this tour. :D

The size is A0 and cost £29.95 or something like that, but the next size down (A1) was only £5 less. You'll have to take the best quality one in, even if it's not your favourite, cos if you get really close to the photo, at that size it goes rather grainy, but from a metre or so away it's great! And who's going to get that close to it anyway?! :D I'm sure the people in the shop will help you with which photo would be best as those kind of sizes, but the one I got was just taken from an ordinary film, and I haven't had any digital ones done that big, so I don't know what they'll be like. But take your photos in, and I'm sure they'll help you :-)

I'd definately suggest Ebay, as Chris said a lot of the posters on there are early promo ones from the 70's

Keep an eye out at your local students union if you ahve one nearby.

They quite often have big poster sales for the uni students and let anyone in to buy them. I got my big Bat 2 poster from one of them.

Virgin Megastore did t-shirts and posters to order last year, not sure if they still do though! My friend got a poster of the WTTN cover!

Are you specifically just after a poster? because having framed picture discs would look even cooler and they're easily available on Ebay for next to nothing.

I don't have mine framed yet but then again I don't have a big space on my wall.

Absolutely. I have a few picture disc up and they look great. What I did though was I framed all of the "main" albums, so Bat, Dead Ringer etc - none of the compilations or anything - and they look great. Wouldn't give up my posters though lol
