Kasim Sulton will be featured on 2 new releases over the next few months!

On Monday 21st November a new compilation album called "Best Of Todd Rundgren - Live" will be released. Kasim can be heard singing on 5 of the tracks on this album, plus he pays bass on 3 of the tracks (the other two are from Todd's 1985 ground-breaking A Capella Tour).

In early 2006 in Europe the long awaited DVD "Todd Rundgren and The Liars - Live" will be released. This DVD was recorded in June 2004. This DVD is released next month in the US so can be ordered online if you have a multi-zone DVD player

http://www.KasimInfo.com/Blog.html has more info about both these releases and http://www.noblepr.co.uk/Press_Releases/sanctuary_records/todd_best_of.htm has a track by track commentary by Todd.

Although Amazon.co.uk don't list it yet, I've been assured that the release date for Europe will be Monday 30th January 2006.

According to Virgin.co.uk a CD that sounds very similar to this one is being released on the 7th November and not the 21st as previously suggested. So if anyone want the CD two weeks early, I suggest they go shopping at Virgin via my website (hang on! I haven't got a website...LOL) or click HERE (http://www.virginmegastores.co.uk/bin/venda?ex=co_wizr-xapian&threshold=50&bsref=virgin&searchfld=&searchpage=0&searchinvt=1&searchstry=0&searchlike=1&itemsperpage=10&srchopt=V%2CD%2Csortprice%2Csortname%2Csortrelease&carryfields=V%2CD%2Csortprice%2Csortname%2Csortrelease&SYNALL=1&searchex=rundgren&V=&sortname=&sortrelease=down&sortprice=&submit.x=9&submit.y=7)

No mention of the DVD though, so if you've got a multizone (region free) DVD player I suggest you order it from amazon.com not co.uk or use the link Debs gave.

As a suggestion, you can turn almost any DVD player into region free by following some simple instructions HERE'S (http://www.dvd.reviewer.co.uk/info/multiregion/hackable.asp) a good website to do just that. :)) Now you can enjoy the DVD almost 2 months early ;)
