yeah, they moved the entire story from Ireland to America. I was very confused at the beginning lol
Theyīre just for some holiday scenes in Ireland. But afterall I think itīs a great movie.
Hilary S~~~~ (:mrgreen:) did a good job imo (never noticed her before btw).
And oh dear, the men were... well... wow lol
Gerard Butler, James Marsters, Harry Connick Jr. (big talent!!!!)!
Was also good to see Lisa Kudrow and the incredible Kathy Bates again!

I love that movie! It's so weird seeing Tom Felton, who plays Louis, being nice, instead of being a nasty little so-and-so as Draco Malfoy in the Harry Potters!!

The movie is truly terrific...and definitely bears second and third and maybe 4th look...:oops:

BUT...with this said...I will leave 2nd look for when DVD comes out or they show it on cable...

i didnt really like it.
much too confusing (apparently only if you havent read the book), also i found out (after the movie), that its part one of a trilogy, so it doesnt really have a proper ending.
It takes too long to really get started and once it did the movies over.

Nope, thought he was the worst I'd seen, the way he played it left the character with absolutely no charisma/charm/excitement, all these are what I would say a "Bond" has. To be honest I thought the whole film was poor at best.

1408 ws brilliant, although they did such a good job of the suspense that the storyline was sometimes lost while you were waiting for the nexr shock...think I'd like to watch it again knowing when the scary bits are to follow it a little easier!

Brilliant perfromance from John Cusack but Samual L Jackson was fabulous, shame he didn't feature more

Not the last film but the last new one we saw was White Noise...what a disappointment!!! I'd heard so many horrror stories about how frightening it was blah blah blah, I even insisted on watching it in daylight, so I was so disappointed when it didn't even half live up to what I'd been promised. I'm the jumpiest person I know, so if it didn't scare me then that's how bad it was :lol:

You should, if you haven't already, check out their 'Meisterworks' DVD - it's a live acoustic concert filmed in England, as well as all of the TV stuff they've done, and the videos for 'Tribute' and 'Wonderboy' etc. Top rate stuff indeed. well worth a watch or ten.

I think that describes the movie the best. opening with kickapoo i would have expected something more musical like, but soon it went down to a 'common' comedy with a few song elements. Liked it though.

Incidently I digged the dvd out again last night, cant believe how much they put on two discs. The brixton academy show is very good, also put it on my ipod. Another part I really enjoyed was the tour documentary.
