Seen quite a few lately:

Transformers Dark Of The Moon - huge fun. Epic, funny, and Leonard Nimoy is AWESOME!

Monsters - very well made, but very little actually happens.

The Adjustment Bureau - thought this was really good. Humourous, well directed, and well acted - Matt Damon and Emily Blunt in particular really make you root for them. The good thing is the baddies are also quite likeable, but you still want the good guys to win.

I saw it when it came out in 1962 at the theater and fell in love with Professor Harold Hill and the whole concept and fantasy of the becoming of "the band" ... Watched the Star Wars Blu-Ray boxset (well, apart from Return of The Jedi so far) whilst I've ben laid up with my back. I simply don't understand the need to keep meddling. I know ! You really can't take your eyes or ears off the Edies ! You can't believe these are real people, not to mention related by marriage to the Kennedy clan ! I watch with a mixture of a bit of pity and a bit of "you go, girls !!!" ... lol ... Talk about doing life your way, hunh ? ... lol ...

The last film I watched was Requiem For A Heavyweight, black and white, written by Rod Serling. I'm a Rod Serling fan via Twilight Zone and have heard of this film forever. It was interesting enough to me and the end reminded me of a combo of a scene from Kansas City Bomber and the end of The Wrestler, probably only due to the fact the storyline was about a poor, old broken-down athlete.

I have TWO most recents that I watched fully ... lol ... Usually I'm putting on a film and nodding off using it for white noise at night... HOWEVER ... lol ... I watched Red Riding Hood. That held my interest and I kept asking aloud... "who is it... WHO IS IT" ... during most of the film ... lol ... and then.. there was... omgoodness... a film called Black Sheep. Too freakin' much and CRAZY !!! and... baaaaahed ... lol ... but with what I consider one of the most fabulous "death" scenes ever "filmed" (it was a bit brief and probably ... well... SURELY ... computerized ... lol ... ). It's put Lizard's death scene in The 51st State aka Formula 51 into second place on my list of death scenes that make you laugh your arse off ... lol ... This film was made in New Zealand and is about experiments being done on sheep. I'm not even sure of the "why", but what happens after some of the waste from the experiments gets accidently dumped out in open field as opposed to in a landfill proper is just... lol ... well... nutty !!! ... Think... wereSheep or zombieSheep/people... rolling ... Bad for Good, I'd call this one ... hahaha ... KABOOOOM !!! ... hahaha ...

The Victors starring George Hamilton and George Peppard. Very interesting war movie, although there were some sudden "jumps" in the plot :wtf: and you didn't know what had happened in between. I read that the movie was allegedly withdrawn and edited, maybe the temporarily incoherent plot had something to do with that. (?) Does the book shed any light on the ending of the story?

As I said, the film was pretty good all the way through but left a lot to the imagination at the end.

I thought of a few ways the story could have really come together (given the right tweaks) but alas, it never did.

I'd be quite happy to read the book as long as I didn't plough through 500 pages to get the same ending

I did that a couple of weeks ago. Love Scream 1 and 2 (2 is actually my favourite), and 3 is really good when the annoying Stab 3 actors are NOT on screen.
