Somehow every time that little flag dropped I was thinking...You've got mail!
What I haven't figured out was...how did they talk like it was a messenger...back and forth...must have spent a LOT of time standing by that mailbox...fun fun fun...

Chasing Ghosts. First time I'd seen it. Great movie with even greater actor/s in it.
The Hills Have Eyes 2
Amazingly enough, this film made me jump a few times, which most horror flicks don't, because you can see it coming. This one also ends in away that there could be a part 3 in the future. :) I give it an 8/10 for "jump factor". :)) Not a bad flick at all.. much better than I had imagined it would be.

what's it always with women and Depp?
Always when you're in a group with at least two girls or women, and you're discussing movies, after maximal 4 minutes it goes "Depp Depp Depp Depp Depp" :nag:

Funnily the ad's over here announced it as a movie that shows the dumbness and ingnorance of the americans...But I dont see any igonrance in two men pretending to hump each other or a a devil as jew. Two or three times I really thought what weird ways of thinking these people must have, but then again, I think many people would just say what he wants to hear to do conversation or small talk.

Well, what they meant is...this is how Americans envision Uzbekhistan and Uzbek people or whatever...
However...beleive it or not...in remote parts of Russia people never heard of jews...but from what they did hear...they envision them as devils...that is actually a true fact...
I actually met a person who while encountering their first Jewish person said...I don't get it...he has two eyes, two arms and two legs...what is so different about him??????????????? Was expecting a devil with horns...

The phantom of the opera
Oh my god...believe it or not it was Sound of Music
I needed something playing in the background and not distracting me...
Strictly speaking it was the Sound Of Music also, but since I was painting at the time it doesn't count (someone else who shall remain nameless, but for the sake of argument we'll call her "T'Other Half" Yoddled all the way through). Still can't understand how she (Julie Andrews that is, not T'Other Half) can be a nun one day and then three days later is getting married! :?
Other than that it was Premonition ... didn't see that coming :))
I have a LOT of questions concerning that movie now...
For example...how do you walk away...quit sort of without notice and leave innocent children fend for themselves...and then come back just like that...just because...and taken in like you're the best thing that ever happened to anybody...

I haven't watched it for years now...and although I now see it with new eyes...the songs just get into my hair and I can't wash them out...they are VERY catchy...
But then again...I LOVE musicals...and once I see one or hear one...it gets into my head and the only way to get them out is for me to see the next one...:lmao:
If they drive you crazy you can always do what Andy did and adapt some of the songs with some rather ..choice lyrics

Father: I am sorry...
I: Continuing screaming...you should be!!!
And that's all I will remember of Spidey 3...hope no more is coming...
Was watching VERY old movies channel for 2 days...innumerable movies...
BUT...I guess Spiderman 3 would be the most important one...too long crap...
Highlight of the movie...
I am sitting by the wall and there is a tense moment...maybe 2 of those in the movie and this is one of them...police scanners are going off...spidey is listening...Mary Jane is knocking on the door...and something biggish runs right next to me...and I am by the wall where I didn't think there is a space for anybody/anything to squeeze...obviously I start screaming on top of my lungs...kid got away from parents...father is squeezing by me to get to the kid...
Father: I am sorry...
I: Continuing screaming...you should be!!!
And that's all I will remember of Spidey 3...hope no more is coming...
hahaha... probably WHYYYYY... i'll wait for POTC3 to come out on dvd... to enjoy it in the privacy of livingroom ... i don't like crowds... and partICUlarly don't like crowds of parents who can't keep a leash on their wee ones... lol...
still The Godfather for me i guess... i snoozed out to the weekly Sunday night Law&Order:Criminal Intent marathon... Bobby's so HOT !!! ... AND quirkie... :D ...
Forrest Gump

28 weeks later.
Okay I guess.
Thought it was all rather disturbing if anything. Especially the attack scene with the woman on the hospital bed. Maybe I'm getting too old for horror movies. Prefer Romero's original zombie movies to this zany stuff.

Lol... just started watching it now... And thinking that even when I'm reading the books, in my mind, Amelia is Angelina Jolie... she fits with my picture of the character, which is really unusual...

Basta.rd Boys
- Actually it was a two part Australian mini series/movie, a partially fictional piece based on actual events on the waterfront (predominantly in Melbourne) in 1998. Perfect for the unionists and politically inclined, and brilliantly portrayed.
