First half of Star Wars Ep II, taped the 2nd half to watch tomorrow afternoon when i'm not @ university!:)) Seen it before, but couldn't remember much about it. You know those scenes when Anakin is protecting Padme in that nice house/building type thing (there's just the two of them, no one else there) and there were mountains and waters in the background? That's where I was on holiday this year!!!:D Those scenes were filmed at Lake Como in Italy, we recognised the Jurassic Park type mountains and mountain ridges.

"Walk the Line".
J. Phoenix was phenomenal. I'm betting on "The Oscar in Black" :))
Off to see this tomorrow as i have heard good things about it
xXx: State of the Union, apparently I have better taste than this  All I say is I was taken to watch it in the cinema and Willem Dafoe is in it so I bought it. It's not amazing but if you want something which is purely visual it's the film for you.
The last film we saw at the cinema was Wallace and Gromit which was great, the last DVD I watched was Love Actually this morning, such a good film!!
Can't WAIT to see Narnia!! Was my favourite as a kid so really looking forward ot seeing it, ( though I don't think my other half is looking forward to sitting next to me getting all excited when it comes on! lol)

King Kong.... got a bit "How many more monsters can we cram in here?" in the middle, but was good fun anyway!
Narnia was increadible!!!! Lucy started to annoy me a bit towards the end, ( must be the name lol ) but I thought it was just amazing, stuck to the original wonderfully
And I was shocked to see that the cinema was only about 10% children - the rest were groups of adults!
How amazing is that film!!!!!!!

Absolutely beautiful!
Only thing I didn't like was when Kong was fighting the T-Rexes and did something particularly nasty to the last one he fought, I love T-Rexes!:( Other than that, if you're not as attached to dinosaurs as I am, it's brilliant!

Half an hour of Phantom of the opera on DVD. There was a power cut on our little part of a four mile long street, and in desperation we watched the first half hour of it on my new portable DVD player on a 7 inch screen set up on the table so it looked like a 1 inch screen:lmao: Chandelier part (best bit of the movie) wasn't quite as effective as it had been on the cinema screen!
been a busy cinema-goer this week.
Howl's moving castle - a wonderful film, well animated, good characters. ending seemed a little rushed and contrived.
Jarhead - Interesting, not quite what i expected.
Derailed - reasonable way to pass the time, fairly predictable. only one twist that i didn't spot. however it has prooved that Jennifer Anniston could actually be ok in a serious role.
think i might have to go see March of the Penguins and Casanova next week...

Oh, I like musicals! I see them at the Empire Theatre quite a lot, just the movie of Chicago didn't really do anything for me. I liked some of the songs (He Had it Coming and Mr Cellophane), and some of the screenshots were lovely, but it just seemed to drag, and I'm sorry, but I don't think I could sit through it a third time!
Found an interesting fact about the show on the imdb the other night about it, actually: Bebe Neuwirth (spelt wrong, probably! but she was Lilith Sternin/Crane in Cheers/Frasier) had a stint of playing the role of Velma Kelly on stage!
Actually, seeing how you mentioned Richard Gere being in it and you being a fan, has anyone else heard/read etc that Meat was offered that role,or have I just dreamed it?!:? I must admit that if Meat was in it I may have liked it a bit more (and seen him on the big screen, something I've yet to achieve!)!

Going to Watch Tomorrow Never Dies.....
haven't read/heard much about the new Bond movie..don't like the new James Bond..a blond guy..:rly:
It's Daniel Craig... some pics of him as Bond in this months empire. I am pretty hopeful that he will be good. I at least like the sound of the new bond, quite gritty and serious, a return the roots of Bond

and.. oh yeah.. the deppie one stars.. lol.. so who can beat THAT with a stick.. ??...
Saw "Jarhead" last night. Not bad, based on the real life journals of a US soldier during the Gulf War.
It also has a ML connection, as one of the soldiers is played by Lucas Black, the kid "PeeJoe" in Crazy in Alabama.

Lol I can't believe they have made a 4th scary movie. Of all the unnecessary things in this world I think that tops the list.

Yeh it is out in all of the UK this weekend. I don't mind the Scary Movies, they are S*** but good for a laugh.
Leslie is in it! As the president, no less.
I like Titanic!
Me and my significant other had a very lazy night tonight and we watched 2 movies!!!!!!
A Beautiful Mind - really liked this despite not being a fan of Russell Crowe. I mean I think he is a great actor, but he just annoys me.
Natural Born Killers - Didn't really enjoy this. Thought Oliver Stone was just trying too hard. I'm a big Tarantino fan, but from what I've heard (and what I could see) they really messed around with his original script.
Oh well.
Not long for Pirates now, tink!

i do as well... even though.. i KNOW it takes many artistic liberties.. i still think it's a good movie..the special effects are incredible... and i like the storyline... involving Jack.. Rose..and that brute fiance' of hers.. grrrr... lol.. and the end.. is so sweet... and a wee sad... the VERY end i mean...

"enough with the NUMbers already !!!... i've given it five tries now.. and i just can't get into it.. but.. hey.. i'm willing to try at least one more time.. it's just .. i found him SO annoying i couldn't feel poorly for him.. aint i awful?..

Harry potter...chamber of secrets...I'm such a child! :D
.. enough of The Wedding Singer to know.. i want to see the entire thing.. looks like a fun sweet time...
King Kong
King Kong as well. It was a whole lot better than I thought it would be. I even got a feeling that if the original people had the technology that's what they would have made initially
Watched Alien vs Predator for the 2nd time tonight. It was just as bad as the first time.
I love the Alien movies. have never seen the Pred movies.
This pretty much sucked though.

by Scary Movie 3 but then I waste another 2 hours of
my life that I can never get back!

No good, eh? Trailers look pretty funny...is it one of those things that if you've seen trailers you've seen the entire comedy part?

Pretty much, just my opinion some folks must like it but it
dragged the jokes out a bit.

Started watching Capote but had to turn it off.

Philip Seymour Hoffman was annoying me, I'll probably give
it another try, just wasn't in the mood I guess.
Had to turn off The Weatherman with Nic Cage too!
Started too slowly.
