View Full Version : Bat I Full Music Score
Found someone advertising the full music score for Bat I on eBay and thought someone here might be interested. This is long out of print and extremely hard to find. It contains all the arrangements for voice, guitars, bass, piano, drums, percussion, organ & strings:

I have that book. It cost me around £80 back in 1993/4. It's pretty good but a bit too precise I find. Obviously it was compiled once the album was finished. Even Steinman does not really "orchestrate" a band to this detail.
It does show some interesting parts that I would not have noticed only by listening! :-)
Well worth 20 quid!! Can't believe no-one has bought it yet!

I've got this - it cost me about £15 probably 6/7 years ago. It's a very good book for anyone who wants to play any of the songs on guitar, anyone who wants to try to play lead guitar to any of the songs (good luck) or anyone who fancies a tinkle on the ivories. Very good - very detailed, but very tricky in parts!
I've got this one also, and Bat out of Hell II, my son has used them extensively in the past whilst having guitar lessons.....

Could be a German Kasim fan, as the person who bought it comes from Germany and with and Ebay ID of kas3007 you don't need to be a genius to connect the dots, unless the name has something to do with cheese :lmao:
Pud
Would be intersting to see this book.

Section of All Revved Up. Think you'll get the idea:

It's a huge, very comprehensive book ... around 300 pages.

Even that does not give you the full idea I'd say. Take a look at the intro of Bat, around 16 parts or so?
Only Steinman could come up with a chord like Aadd6&4/G, brilliant! ;-)
It's very accurate indeed. When I bought it, I programmed a lot of the songs into midi format (took ages) and they sound exactly the same as on the record. (though a bit wooden obviously)
