I am blatently stealing this from another board that i am on as it has provoked quite a good debate over there.

When you are alone in the pub or somewhere public staring ahead into the middle-distance looking as tho you are either empty-headed or contemplating one of lifes great mysteries, what are you thinking?

None of the above being very good things :( , but if they were, you wouldn't be alone in the pub staring ahead into your own heart in the first place ;) .

As a former barmaid most men seem to be thinking 'who can i get to buy my next pint?'

Or to make this relevant to mouse's suggestion

Should i ...make friends with this guy next to me so he will buy me one
