I heard him singing that song during the summer, and I'm certain he mimed his way through it. Anyone agree.

I know he didn't mime the song "It only hurts when I feel"

It was definitely live. I was front row at Warwick.

He sang a long too it alright. But for some strange reason there was a voice singing in the background, and it sounded like his voice in the Rocky Horror film.

I SWEAR ON MY LIFE!!!!!!! I know what I heard.

The voice in the background was probably Kasim singing backing vox.

No way!!!!!

It was a backing track.

Just out of interest in this whole conspiracy theory of Meat Loaf miming Steve6, what other songs do you think he mimed to?

Pud

Steve6

No other one!!!!

Leah

Hmmm now why would Meat choose to mime just one song out of the whole set? :wtf: And surely if it was too hard he'd drop it for a far more easier song, it aint like he's stuck for songs to sing...

......The mind boggles....

I don't know why he mimed it. But he sounded like Eddie from the Rocky Horror Film.

Pudding

So not only did Meat Loaf just mime to one song :tard: but the song he mimed to sounded like Eddie from RHPS, is that correct? :retard: I'm just wondering then why he didn't do Hot Patootie instead of Black Betty if that's the case

Don't know. Ask him yourself :retard:

I would say the track was definitely live.

The voice in the background would have either been Kasim on backing vocals or an echo effect through Meat's mike.

Steve6

No it wasn't Kasim nor was it any special effect. I could hear Meat Loaf singing a long to the voice, that was playing on the backing track. I recognised it straight away.

I'll ask him later, as I'm nearly 2% certain he'll be logging on later :lmao: I hope he does log on, otherwise I'll look silly by making such a claim

No, steve it was live. I was front block at warwick castle and there was no backing track. He sounded just like in the other LIVE songs. His voice didn't suddenly change especially for 'Black Betty'. I'm certain.

Right you are Paul. I was in the front row for 3 shows (2 in Atlantic City, 1 in Connecticut) and the 3rd row for another show (in Atlantic City) ... Meat was definitely singing it live, and there was no backing track.

I thought it was fantastic .. and would love for Meat to release it, possibly as a b-side to a cd single from Bat III :-)

Yep, Defo live:-). I also loved the song and thought he sang it fantastically. I'd love for it to be released as a B-side or even as a live single. That would be great.:-P

Nope it was mimed. Sorry but as I said above, I know what I heard you guys.

It might have been different where you people saw it.

I was unfortunate not to be able to attend any of Meats gigs on his last tour, but I'm finding it completely unbelievable that not only did Meat Loaf mime just one song from his whole setlist, but now it seems he mimed just one song from just one (maybe two) shows, what's the odds on that? I hope Meat shows up on the board so I can ask him.
