The big deal about sliced bread is, at one time you had to cut it yourself and therefor ended up with uneven cut slices. Already cut bread not only makes your bread go further with even cuts, and easier on your toaster but the convenience factor alone makes it a modern wonder.

Are baked beans actually baked first before going into the tin?

They most certainly are. They are cooked haricot beans. Slow baked for a while to soften them and then canned with water cunningly disguised as tomato sauce.

That is highly probable until you set your settings correctly.

Click on User CP - choose Edit options, halfway down you cna set your time zone. For the UK it should be GMT and the second option should be set to Automatically detect DST settings. Hey presto, the time will be right.
