I don´t know if somebody noticed this, (probably, in 29 years since the release) but i just write it.
If you listen to for cryin out loud, You can hear the croak (i don´t know any better english word for this noise) of the chair Meat is sitting on.
You can hear it before the start of second verse, short before the lines "I was damned and you were safed" (It is 3:23min after the start)
The second time is at 6min 38-40sec before the lyrics "For taking in the sun"
Anybody else noticed that?

I know exactly what you mean. I was actually wondering if i was the only person who had heard it to be honest. However you can only hear it through the headphones.

I just cut it out of the song, (the first noise)
I hope the upload works, if not please tell me, how to do it.

(disabled because of copyright)
That upload didn't work.
However, please do not post any excerpts from Meats (or anyone elses for that matter) recordings on this forum. Doing so may result in a breach of copyright which we'd like to avoid at all costs.
Thanks

You can also hear a sharp intake of the breath on Testify in one spot - I am too lazy to check out where exactly...but I hear it every time I listen to the song...and I listen to that one quite a lot...
Yes i've noticed the creak too, I'm sure there's one in steinman's Pray lewd also...

Do you think such things ain´t cut out of the songs on purpose or that is coincidence?
I know a song by Sting (or Police) where Sting fall over something and laughs, they let it in, because they thought it whould be funny.
R.
Maybe its abit of both, I know when i've recorded a song before, we listened to it back and there was a telephone ringing in the background which was purely by accident!
