Had a wee check to see if this has been asked before and came up with nothing, so here goes. If it indeed has, let me know!

Without a Doubt it has to be

Did I Say That, closely followed by Modern Girl, for me!

For me, it is CHSIB, followed closely by DIST, with Mercury Blues for a rocker.

Without a doubt DIST for me. One of the best songs ever I think. Also really like Where the Rubber meets the Road, such a fantastic song to open a show with. Great stuff.

So many, I've mentioned DIST countless times, but If this is the Last Kiss,

and even CHSIB itself as well as Testify, Piece of the Action the list just goes on...

Definitely Man of Steel!
I liked DIST, when I heard it first, but it is very sad: i "heard it off". I think You know what I mean with that.

If you hear a song the first time you really enjoy the music and listen to the lyrics. This goes for a time. If You hear it very often (as i have to do as a radio-moderator), then after some time you got the song completely in Your head. Itīs like playing a tape in your mind while listening. You think of other things automatically and itīs very hard to concentrate on the song.
There are many (i think nearly all) radiostations, which want make this happen to their listeners. In German we got a very good word for: Dudelfunk, maybe somebody could translate it. It means something like listening to songs while doing something else like car driving or reading the newspaper.

Hope i could explain it in the right way.

Thanks - I understand you now, but I have never experienced that. I have overlistened to songs, to the point I have become sick of them though!

lol I know that feeling for sure...but even then you can't get the music out of your head..

yes, but sadly you canīt enjoy it like you did before.

This was my problem some years ago with Poison by Alice Coope. I loved that song, and listened to it everyday many times. (Itīs so powerful and has so much pain in it)

I think i can explain it in one sentence:
The magic has gone...

And so it did with DIST, too :-(

Always when I can't fall asleep at nite and I lay on my pillow I just start to sing Piece of the action or Modern Girl or Rubber meets the road or Man of Steel.
