Can anyone help me
I have brought a new MP3 player & what should be a simple set-up - is turning out to be a nightmare :bicker:
I followed the instructions in the cd & it appeared to work (although the computer did crash)
It will not recognise the driver for the device & I don't know how I can find out if the driver has been successfully installed.
I have uninstalled from the cd & reinstalled - but still no joy
Anyone able to help me please
If it's a USB mp3 player, and you're using Windows XP, forget the software that came with it. It probably won't need a driver. Just plug in your mp3 player and it should show as a removable hard drive. Just open it up like you would any other added device and drag n drop. Hope this helps.

Yeah, I just plug mine in to the pc then go to the mp3 I want to put on it, right click and send to removeble drive g/h/or whatever it is. No software required....
This is another reason why I am happy to have 2 teenagers around the house;) They have done it, before I found the manual ;)

That's exactly how I use mine as well. I can't even read the manual because it's written in lilliput size.

I sorted it :D
I have to delete the driver from the system & reinstall it - I now have 130 songs on my mp3 player.
Before I install my daughters new one - can windows 98 sustain more than one device.
