I am thinking of buying A hole in One DVD and am wondering is it a good buy? I can't find it anywhere to rent so I guess I have to buy it. Everywhere says it is 3 stars worth a watch but I want to know since it will be about 20 bucks. Can anyone tell a little more about it cause all I'm finding is the plot and the back of the dvd box as far as the outline for the movie. I have seen the clips on ROL but again want to know some more. What can you all tell me?

This is one movie I'd love to get my hands on (sadly, it has not been released in any format in Australia, and is not going to be).

Allegedly, it's a historical fiction based around the "discovery" of the lobotomy in America in the 1950's, when the lobotomy was seen as a cure-all for mental patients. Plotwise, from memory, Meat is a gangster whose girlfiends wants a lobotomy, and I believe (but don't quote me) she has some sort of tryst with the doctor. But do NOT quote me on the last bit.

The lobotomy bit sounds fun though. :D

Ok well I won a copy for 13.37 all together but I hope this guy still gots it in stock. Since his feedback is like 99.2 and the negative is items not in stock and netural with item not in stock but they send the payments back. So I hope all goes well and don't cost me like RHPS 25 dvd did.....it was 25 and the guy didn't get the money order so I had to use paypal anoth 25....and if I asked for the money order company to send it back would have been 13 dollars or a tracking on it was 20 dollars. Waste of time really

'A hole in one' is currently my favourite Meat film.

It's deep and rather disturbing!!

Meat plays one of the leading roles in this film - and it really does confirm what an incredible actor Meat is!

I would definitely recommend this film, so I'm glad you've decided to buy it.

I get very confused with the regions :| Amazon say region 1 can I use this in the UK?

Yes and no.

UK is part of Region 2, but many players are multi-region now (or can be modified to play multi-region). You need to watch out for whether the DVD is PAL or NTSC encoded as well (UK uses PAL, other Region 2 areas like Japan use NTSC, as well as the US using NTSC).
