 9 good examples why people are dumb
1. People who point at their wrist while asking for the time.... I know where my watch is pal, where the hell is yours? Do I point at my crotch when I ask where the toilet is?
2. People who are willing to get off their ass to search the entire room for the T.V. remote because they refuse to walk to the T.V. and change the channel manually.
3. When people say "Oh you just want to have your cake and eat it too". Damn right! What good is cake if you can't eat it?
4. When people say "it's always the last place you look". Of course it is. Why the hell would you keep looking after you've found it? Do people do this? Who and where are they? Gonna Kick their asses!
5. When people say while watching a film "did you see that?". No Loser, I paid £6 to come to the cinema and stare at the damn floor.
6. People who ask "Can I ask you a question?".... Didn't really give me a choice there, did ya sunshine?
7. When something is 'new and improved!' Which is it? If it's new, then there has never been anything before it. If it's an improvement, then there must have been something before it, couldn't be new.
8. When people say "life is short". What the hell?? Life is the longest damn thing anyone ever does!! What can you do that's longer?
9. When you are waiting for the bus and someone asks "Has the bus come yet?". If the bus came would I be standing here, dumbass?
Guilty of a few here...
But I categorically refuse to point to my crotch when asking for a toilet...I rather point at HIS/HERS crotch...

What if that person is deaf and the only form of communication is sign language, are they dumb as well?

 Well as many deaf people are also dumb, the answer to your question would be yes.
Bit of a MUTE point you made there.

Just because someone might be deaf it doesn't automatically make them dumb, just like someone being dumb doesn't automatically make them deaf.

Actually...seriously speaking...there is no such thing as "dumb" or "mute"...people are mute only because they are deaf and can't hear to be able to reproduce the sound...

That is not true. There are a load of people who have the ability to hear but not speak. I have friends and family who are deaf but they are neither mute OR dumb.

You do understand that you haven't said anything new to me, right?
You're talking about load of people who have ability to hear but not speak...but giving me an example of people who are deaf but not mute...apples and oranges so to speak...
I have some medical education...muteness as we understand it is caused by deafness...unless, of course, there are severely damaged vocal cords, etc.
And that's exactly what I've said...people are mute USUALLY because they are deaf...but, of course, they don't have to be mute at all...because there is no such thing as mute per se...just read my post again...

I have some medical education...
So have I
You should read your own posts again.
You said "seriously speaking...there is no such thing as "dumb" or "mute"...people are mute only because they are deaf and can't hear to be able to reproduce the sound..."
I disagreed with that statement because mutism isn't always connected with deafness. It can be a condition brought on by anxiety at an early age, which actually affects about 1 in every 1000 children. It also can be brought on by some medical conditions, head injuries, voice-box removal etc etc
Then you changed your stance by saying "...people are mute USUALLY because they are deaf..." which is a statement I agree with.
I've never said the majority of cases for people who are mute or dumb aren't caused by deafness, I said "There are a load of people who have the ability to hear but not speak" which with your medical education is a statement you would have to agree with.
