Hey Guys i got my first tattoo a few weeks agoits meat loaf related if anyone has the gate fold sleeve cover of is nothing sacred anymore single its the bat from that cover i didnt just get it because its meat loaf i got it because i like bat and i liked that design check it out!!

I have a bat on each shoulder blade, both different. I've had them for over 5 years now. I'll try and get pictures of them if i can.

It isn't that bad honest. The best one i've used is in Low Fell high street wouldn't be too far for you. Very clean and there is a woman who does them as well.
Go on be brave. :lol:

I have an angel playing a guitar tattooed on my back as my favourite lyric is 'the angels had guitars before they had wings.' It really didn't hurt that much and I absolutely love it.

So everyone tells me!!! I suppose it's the fear of something so permanent - if they get it wrong I'm stuffed!

Perhaps you need to make sure it's a tattoist and not a taxidermist you go and see then ...

Trust you!! Stuffed was the word I chose after MLUKFC edited all the less appropriate ones I was thinking!

If you do decide to have a tattoo... ask some people who they would recomend in your area!!
I have a tattoo on the bottom of my back... I only allow this one guy to tattoo me.. he's the only one I trust!!!

My guy was busy one New Year's Eve and I could'nt wait.. (sorry I did'nt tho)
so had his mate to do the tattoo on the bottom of my back, he stuffed up big time!!!
Showed my mate and he had to go over it all again... now it look's fab... love it!!!

So if they get it wrong.. they can alway's cover it up!!

Have a small one first!!!

Exactly, and the last thing I was is a permanent tattoo that isn't quite right, if there's one dot out of place I'd know and I'd hate it!!

Of course the other issue is that if I had it done and it's perfect and I love it, I'll spend all of May running around in low cut jeans making sure everyone sees it at least once LOL!!

Absence of tattoo never prevented anybody to run around in low cut jeans...:lol:

My ex was heavily into tattoos and he had Jimi Hendrix inked on his back One of his friends wanted the same so the transfer was copied and handed over His friend was really pleased with the result until it was pointed out that Hendrix was famous for being left handed!! The tattooist had put the transfer on the wrong way and Hendrix was playing right handed on this guys arm forever!!

Some VERY nice tattoos here! I have a bat on the nape of my neck. It was originally going to be one of the Meat Loaf logo style ones, but it developed into a more realistic looking bat in the end, mainly because this design ended up taking on more meanings for me than just the importance of Meat's music in my life.
