'Bomb flat' had Meatloaf CDs
February 02, 2007
"THE alleged 21/7 bomb-making factory contained Meatloaf and Michael Bolton CDs, a court heard yesterday.
Barrister Barnaby Jameson — representing Yassin Omar, 26, one of six men accused of making bombs from hydrogen peroxide and chapati flour — also said Western movies were in the council flat. Det Con Malcolm Wilson also confirmed an ANTI-terror leaflet was found in the home in New Southgate, North London.
Woolwich Crown Court also heard 190 empty bottles of hydrogen peroxide were discovered in communal bins at the tower block. Some had the alleged plotters’ fingerprints on them.
The six deny conspiracy to murder. The trial continues."

Can anyone tell me what relevance having Meat's CD's in the flat has to do with bombing London???? The media must be so desperate if this is 'news'.

:lmao: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Why indeed!
Thanks for sharing:up:
Which CD's were they? (I'd like to know if I'm a potential bomber) or is it the combination of Meat Loaf CD's and Michael Bolton CD's?
Oh... it's ok, I have no Michael Bolton CD's.
Phew! Thank goodness for that.
I own Michael bolton and Meat loaf cd's!

It's totally irrelevant what CDs were in the flat and totally unfair of the media to link Meat's and Micheal Bolton's names to this. Why not also tell us what the bombers had in their fridge, eg Tesco yoghurts, diet pepsi, Bernard Matthews turkey ?? Because it's not interesting and it's not news.

 DIET Pepsi?
Why didn't the security services get onto this earlier?
I remember a convo not so long ago wether it was safe to go to RAH in case of terror attack, and it was sugested we might be perfectly safe, as long as Bin Laden is a Loaf fan.
Well now we know :faint:

I have A Michael Bolton cd.
Like others have said what is the point in telling people what music they had. Shame it wasn't westlife then maybe you could have a case of getting there next single banned!

I think it was to show, that even though they hate the west, the music is still good enough for them. :D

One time at uni we were looking at news articles on this sort of thing. One guy who had killed someone wore all black, a long black coat and had a Matrix poster in his room, and the student who was looking at that article always wears black, a long black coat, and he confessed to having a Matrix poster in his room!
This thread gave me a laugh, though! It's usually rap music that carries not so subliminal messages about killing. Guess now they've found a new influence.
