How Many Meat Loaf T shirts/Sweatshirts Do You Own [Archive]

I've got 7, I think. Two with the Bat album cover on, one with Meat driving a car, one with 'I'll Never Forgive Myself If We Don't Go All the Way' on it, a brown one from HOTD, One with Bat 2 cover, and the red and white baseball jersey from CHSIB tour.

I don't have many t-shirts, I've bought them at shows as a kind of "I was there" but I'm not a huge fan of them. Though I did spend a stupid amount on a ladies' vest top that was on sale at Hyde Park in 2002 - a black strappy top with the Meat Loaf logo and a bat (I think!) embroidered on the front and it wa 25 quid I seem to remember - don't even wear it!

Only two - a white vest top with racer style back, says Meat Loaf on the back, and The Angels Had Guitars Even Before They Had Wings on the front with the cherub picture, and the other is the black The Monster Is Loose one from RAH with the RAH date on the back.

I do, however, have assorted other musical event T-shirts...

I bought one of those for the girlfriend I had at the time. She used to wear it quite a lot, so got my money's woth lol.

lol at least someone did! Mine's a little small anyway but I went into that "it has Meat Loaf on so must lock it away and keep it perfect" mode, so never really wore it.

I bought one of the Meat Loaf hoodys on the CHSIB tour (which, I might add, is the only hoody I own!) which was pretty expensive but I've worn it to death!

One is not so common...if I manage to locate it...it will go the same way as others...that'll leave me with one Bat III that I bought not sure what for...

I have that one!!! Doesn't fit, straps are too long so have never worn it. Must get straps altered, it's lovely!
Have the 2002 tour t-shirt that Mam wears to shows, it's massive on me, one that fits with the logo and a few bats on it, and the RAH ladies t-shirt with the BatIII cover on that also fits! I like Meat clothes, they fit me!!! If only there was a line of ladies' trousers I'd be laughing:roll:

My initial reaction to this was .. so who on earth do you know who would do that? But I see Warioloaf has provided the answer :lol: .. clearly you know him better than I ;) .. but actually they're not Meat's shirts are they? So the puzzle of who you seem to know who would sleep with his "old clothes" remains ..

I have a few bought at concerts over the years, (though I concentrated on Tour GUides more as souvenirs) .. and a considerable number acquired through VIP packages .. most of which I've given to other fans. I don't wear them as the older ones are too big now and more recently they've only come in black, which I never wear. At one M&G where Meat didn't feel well enough to do it we were taken to the merchandising stand to choose something, and I ended up with one of the white windcheater style ones, which I do wear sometimes.

My favourite is still the one from the Best Of tour .. it's black of course but I love the picture of Meat looking like a statesman :)

I was replying to Sarge who used my name and quoted something I had posted, so it WAS about me Einstein :roll: .. pointing out there's a difference IMO between saying you've worn something and "sleeping with it", so the quote was somewhat pointless.

If Pud wants to say who he believes sleeps with Meat's clothes they can defend themselves .. The day he should come on and say that it's me .. that's the day I will come on and tell him he's talking bollocks.
