LucyK! 18 Apr 2007 22:40

Which he will do, obviously...

You're right though Zina, I have to be bugged for months to go to the doctor...Scrabble starts pawing at his eye and it was all stations into action to get him to the vet ASAP!

SamCat 18 Apr 2007 22:41

I think most of the bill was cleaning costs!! Marvin was shedding fur all over the surgery and it had a ginger carpet when we left!!

mszee 18 Apr 2007 22:47

We do have pet insurance...but it covers like...NOTHING...and you STILL wind up paying premiums AND vets...so we're not even bothering...

I have 3 sick dogs...you figure it out...

Surgery??? What have you done to Marvin???

SamCat 18 Apr 2007 22:51

No the vets examination room!! Marvin got into a bit of a panic so she couldn't look at him properly but he's definately better now!!

Uuh, that sounds interesting!!
Can you connect me to that telephone conference as well??;)

AndyK 19 Apr 2007 10:52

Trust me you really don't want to be involved, I am rapidly losing the will to live here! :faint:

Betty 19 Apr 2007 11:02

Are they that nerveracking?
Gimme their email address, I´ll tell them to behave!!! ;)
Or just tell them: Halt die Klappe !!!!!!! (which is a kind version of "Shut up" lol)

AndyK 19 Apr 2007 11:03

Trust me they are, what's worrying is that I work for both of them. I've just left the phone on mute and I'm getting some real work done, while they bicker about things they have little knowledge of.

Betty 19 Apr 2007 11:15

Are they argueing in German??

AndyK 19 Apr 2007 11:24

No. They're argueing in English, I called them Waldrof and Statdler after the two characters from The Muppet Show.

Good decision, I would really advise you not do to that...
Because we´ve got the hugest of the biggest vessels here, and I wouldn´t want you to row between them ;)

Can you please standartize your slang, people???

mszee 19 Apr 2007 17:26

TO EVERYBODY WHO IS INTERESTED:

I have made an executive decision. I am coming to England with my cell phone from home.

At the first opportunity I will buy throw away British phone so we can all communicate in peace and without extra expense.

SO...whoever has my number already will know how to contact me in case of emergency...i.e. texting or calling my States number.

To everybody who foolishly trusted me with their number, I will text you my new phone number just in case.

Whoever is interested in me sending you my throw away number please PM me your cell phone numbers.

Last but not the least...please don't be surprised if I send you a number which will be answered like so.....................

Chuff can be pleased.

In general you are well chuffed when happy and chuffed off when not so happy.

It also makes a very useful all-purpose exclaimation for when you hit your thumb with a hammer in the context of ¨Chuffing hell fire that chuffing well hurt¨

I wouldn't advise anybody to take on MY people...

Basically for two reasons...

1. It's not very good to beat up your own self
2. After beating up your own self one will then have to deal with ME...

mszee 19 Apr 2007 20:58

Apparently American cell phone people are much smarter than British ones...we have unblocked phones ONLY from shady peeps...
