Why do people think they have the right to damage other peoples property,it happened to my sister in laws car and that was parked on her drive, they need a severe kick up the backside or..more

Battybarb 22 Apr 2008 09:08

Just cannot believe what im hearing,a fella has been given a £200 fine and got a criminal record for over filling his wheelie bin,he has a family of 6 and has a rubbish collection every fortnight..this country has gone STIR CRAZY....will be told what we can and cannot say soon...madness......whats next ???

AndyK 22 Apr 2008 09:32

I really need more than two and a half hours sleep a night.

Deb 22 Apr 2008 09:43

Sorry about the car Helen :-(

My son went out monday morning to find somebody had gone into tha back of his and drove off. And as we live in a cul de sac it must have been someone we know. He took it to the garage and they said up to £1000 and could even be a write off :-(

Thanks everyone...! Monstro you are SPOT on with that...although in the mood I was in when I saw it, it's a good thing I couldn't get my hands on the ****** that did it!

All the responses on here make me wonder what is going so wrong with the world - I don't think I could drive off if I accidentally crashed into someone's car either - I'd never live with the guilt! That's terrible for your son Deb, and unfortunately he'll probably never find out who did it unless they subsequently come forward - it's so inconvenient and unfair!

Good luck Cathie  and well done on getting 3 essays done - I can well remember the days of essay & dissertation traumas - so unfair that they always seem to be due in at once (although I probably never really helped myself by leaving it all to the last minute!). I don't envy you at all! Just keep remembering it'll all be worth it in the end :-) (and look forward to the humongous relief you feel after you've completed / handed in your disseration!)

Feleena 22 Apr 2008 14:28

Gosh Helen sorry to hear about your car their are some horrid people out their!

Take a deep breath, imagine yourself having successfully completed them both...

Oh, and treat yourself to something lovely for having done all that hard work so far - good on you!!
