Depending on which report you read they're either going to or not ... Avon was still alive at the end, the other deaths were inferred rather than seen, only Blake was seen to be shot on screen, and with the magic of television anything is possible :))

It's a remake rather than a follow up Diane, could be interesting if battlestar Gallactica is anything to go by.
