 Looks perfectly reasonable to me

Parking space 5 mins from the venue, actually on somebodys driveway.
Sounds a lot more secure than a car park to me

For the Paul McCartney gig at Liverpool football ground last week, they were charging £10 for a space on Stanley Park car park.

I think it's quite a good idea myself 8)

I think we paid £15 to park in the car park for Wembley last summer. I joked that at that price we were sleeping in the car not driving back that night...then we discovered our £15 was only up until midnight!

We got as far as some service station somewhere and dozed off in the car park there as we were both too tired to drive! Alex had sense for the second Wembley gig though which he went to with his mate Sam - they stopped over at the hotel...but I was gutted I missed the "meat" up!!

I don't really know what sort of work you are looking for, but have you thought of phoning around/calling in at places to see if they are going to be taking any people on? I remember doing that looking for summer jobs when I was at uni and it was hard work but worth it because occaisionally one of them would tell you about a vacancy you hadn't seen advertised elsewhere! Also have you registered with any agencies? I will say that some of them are thoroughly useless (I've been registered with one near me for 5 years and they haven't called me once!) but some are actually really helpful (I registered with another one who phoned me almost every week until I found something and they took me off their books!), and even if you just get temp work with some of them, it's always handy to have something to tide you over whilst you're still looking :-)

I'm not knocking the guy, just made me laugh...I don't think we paid less than £7 a night for each Meat show last year so I sure as anything wouldn't say no to parking for 99p!
