samurai7 08 May 2007 00:21

Wondering whether or not to get the new Manic Street Preachers album. The last two were pretty pants, to be honest, and James' solo album hasn't really done much for me, but what I've heard of the new stuff sounds pretty good.

Anyone?

Betty 08 May 2007 00:22

can somebody please help me out there??? :(

duke knooby 08 May 2007 00:22

get duke special, songs from the deep forest, absolutely stunning

Not heard anything from it or from them for a while actually...

Did they ever find the missing lead singer?

He wasn't lead singer, he was lyricist/guitarist and general spokesperson for the group. They never (officially ;)) found him.

And should i be even more concerned that Susie's and my luggages for a week appear to be less combined than Lucy or Zina's?

This is what I don't get...

Let's see...

I am coming into a strange country for almost 10 days...

Lucy is going on a tour for like...bezillion years...

How did you figure out that you and Susie who are going to be there for a total of 2 days need the same amount of luggage???

duke knooby 08 May 2007 00:28

pick it up and BUY it, its FANTASTIC

mszee 08 May 2007 00:36

I have the answer...

Step 1) Pack two pairs of shoes
Step 2) Buy another two pairs of shoes at the airport, which you can then carry on board the plane in a carrier bag.
Step 3) Marvel at how you managed to pack only two pairs and arrive in the UK with four!

They don't sell shoes at that airport...

But it was a good idea...I am talking about those 4 that I have at home already...

RadioMaster 08 May 2007 00:38

so: heres my problem:
remember that I was ordering two frilled shirts from the UK?
It turned out that theyre too small and they didnt have larger ones, so I went to the local to make it larger, and it'll most probably not be finished until wembley...

Oh my god...you will be SO proud of me...I pulled out everything I want to take with me and moved it to a separate rack in the closet...

It wasn't that difficult...I just took all my clothes with the exception of those few that had to go to charity years ago...and moved them to another rack...good job, eh?

Betty 08 May 2007 18:47

Gotta learn for the test that I´ve got to write tomorrow but I just can´t focus right now :?

RadioMaster 08 May 2007 18:50

That´s good to hear!!

well, let´s not talk about the test that I wrote today
But it´s always funny to see some of my classmates having a look at the test, recognising that they don´t know a single answer and leaving right after the test started.

Believe it or not...I did just THAT while taking university entrance exams...professors were startled but not impressed...somehow I got in anyway...12 placements for over 128 people who applied (forgot exact number)...not bad at all for Soviet Russia...but I did learn to keep my mouth shut...
