Now for the serious stuff *forages behind bar, finds bottle of southern, attaches it to drip, and settles down* well after the week i've had i need it. My mum decided to fall down stairs at home, and break ankle in three places, Monday was spent in Edinburgh Royal Infirmary, and ringing around cancelling her holiday and also her friend in america (she was due to fly there this tuesday). She was operated on on Tuesday to sort ankle out, all went well, then the big one hit on Thursday, blood clot in one of her lungs :cry: Thankfully she was still in the hospital when it happened, (and not at home or thousands of feet in the air), so all is well at moment. So I reckon I'm entitled to get totally ratted and all contributions of bottles of southern comfort are greatfully received :?

Thanks people ..... she seems to be on the mend, she's moaning about the hospital food, got me taking sandwiches in when i go to visit her :lmao: hoping to get out at some point during week, but as i haven't spoken to doctor or nurse yet, i'm not sure if she will or not. they still seem to be trying to get the warfarin dose right.
