Priceless

A French film with subtitles, it was very good and silly in parts.

RadioMaster 08 Oct 2008 21:58

The Exorcist 2.

Better than I expected, though by god I would never call this a horror movie. More like a mediocre adventure movie.

I thought the film was utter pants. In fact so much so that I didn't even wait for the ending. I'm glad I didn't going by your thoughts!!

Hypnobabe 09 Oct 2008 15:23

I liked the idea, liked their versions of the films, only problem was the film just sort of seemed to stop dead, and we were left with a load of unanswered questions....

...like what did they do with the money they collected? And did they save the shop? And how did they pay the enormous fine? Did anyone do any jail time? etc etc etc....

samurai7 09 Oct 2008 20:26

I actually quite enjoyed that film, and I said so a few pages back. the ending was pretty weak, though. but then I loved the movies they spoofed, especially ghostbusters, so it was always gonna be a winner for me

I watched Dear Frankie the other night It was a really sweet little film helped by the fact it had Gerald Butler in it!! Boy that guy is gorgeous!!

RadioMaster 12 Oct 2008 22:41

Exorcist: The Beginning

good hollywood blockbuster, but (as the other sequels) wouldnt by far call this a horror movie. The ending felt a bit like a spoof of the original movie to me :?

The Bucket List

mszee 13 Oct 2008 13:49

Miss Pettigrew Lives For the Day followed closely by Iron Man

AndyK 14 Oct 2008 09:51

The Village. Great film, even though I guessed the twist within 15 minutes or so of it starting.

christa 14 Oct 2008 10:18

The last film I went to see was SPACE CHIMPS with my kids .

Greta film if you like kids films!

Skeleton 14 Oct 2008 10:53

last shyamalan film that was half decent... shame, as I really liked his style

LucyK! 14 Oct 2008 18:29

Have to agree RJ...The Sixth Sense is truly stunning, still makes me jump goodness knows how many years after seeing it. The Village is very good with the Shyamalan features that I like, but following The Sixth Sense I thought his other films have been a let down

I happen to agree - I think he is a one movie director...

samurai7 14 Oct 2008 19:25

signs was awful, so haven't watched one of his since

RadioMaster 14 Oct 2008 19:37

i liked signs....the story was crap (and a bit unlogic) but the atmosphere and effects were great.

mszee 14 Oct 2008 20:01
