international postal system is a joke.

I recieved a card today, that was sent out from a small italian village two days ago.

I'm still waiting on a parcel from London, the capital of the UK, sent out with next days delivery, more than three weeks ago.

I have to keep presentation on Monday. My subject is: Education and cultural values and norms.. :zzz: That's boring but I have to do that.. And I have to keep it in English.. :yikes:

Got a message on the answer phone from a guy from French Connection said something about my CV then rattled off this phone number and told me to ring him back, so I did and the girls there made me feel stupid saying that nobody called and I must have the wrong number.. Er no because he called me !!!

Don't know what to do now :(.

Check for the exact name, call back and ask for a person by name...when asked why are you calling...you answer...he called me - I am just returning his phone call...do not say it's about job. If you can't get a name, just ask for human resources or personnel or whatever it is called over there...

BTW, if they try to give you any crap, ask for their name, and then demand to speak to the manager.
