Free - walk past a building site and niock a few bricks. One brick goes under each corner and hey presto - A higher computer!!!

Q. Does anyone hae a serious answer to sharon;s question?

DIZZY DRUMMER 29 Jun 2005 09:27

Thanks Chris - my hubby has the opportunity to have a brand new computer from work - with a small monthly charge for upgrades every few months - just need to get a few ideas to see if it is worth it

Gez 29 Jun 2005 13:56

Why break the habit of a lifetime FA

Biter 30 Jun 2005 23:34

To do what you desire and be the best person you can be.

Why do I feel so philosophical tonight?

Rob The Badger 01 Jul 2005 01:55

Quote:

This has never happened to me...

Anyway, in response to above question. Perhaps because you had a nihilistic vision of a post-modern future where everything has ceased to mean anything and humanity exists in a perpetual state of mourning.

Why am I so dry?

Pixie 01 Jul 2005 08:55

A: Because you haven't been to the Bat & Belfry recently!

B: Why do my bl**dy flights always get diverted to some airport in Timbuktu??:D

DIZZY DRUMMER 01 Jul 2005 09:01

You're just unlucky Pixie.

Ageing Bat 01 Jul 2005 13:58

DIZZY DRUMMER 01 Jul 2005 18:56

If you are not a gardener - how do you know if you are pulling up flowers or weeds

SuperLoafMan 01 Jul 2005 18:58

Weeds stay in the ground ad are harder to get out than flowers, well it is in our case,

Why dont we just get our garden tarmacked! ??

Chris 01 Jul 2005 19:52

Because that is what is causing the major flooding over the last few years and also this years water shortages. If ground is paved, water cannot seep into the water table adn instead runs off the surface to waste drains and out to sea!!!!

Q. Should i take the nice girl to the Chinese or the pub for tea tomorrow?

Yeah, thats the one, they were in Wakefield the other day, I was wondering...is it or isnt it...but it looks it isnt true all a big fix...

Chris 01 Jul 2005 21:45

Aye, when they went down caphouse colliery. All that gubbins about how they didn;t know where they were going was true. they didn't - but the researcher team had been providing charlie with the info to read out to them as they wandered around!!!

Q. Same as above, how do i stop being terrified when meeting people from here int he real world?

SuperLoafMan 01 Jul 2005 21:48

Just pretend that there is a computer in front of you and you are talking via that, lol  ...No....dont....just act natural and be yourself, I cant wait to meet FA1000 and others at Chatsworth!!!

Is an hour enough time to get from Kings cross to Charing cross on the tube ???

tukayaway 06 Jul 2005 17:19

Yes, get the Victoria line to Oxford Circus and then use the Bakerloo line. It's the quickest route.

Is "The Science of K" a good band name?

Rob The Badger 06 Jul 2005 19:24

No.

You need a name that's witty when you first hear it but gets less funny each time you hear it.

who buys pepsi, and why are they allowed to live?

Chris 06 Jul 2005 19:43

Typically either "yoof" or Media types who like to be seen with something other than coca-cola as they think it makes them less likely to be seen as "Brand Followers" The typical Pepsi buyer is likely to combine it with a purchase of a blocked chocolate bar (majority favour Yorkie's) and pellet type chewing gum as opposed to stick gum. They are most likely to be under 30 and single or co-habitating rather than married. They will hoever revert to Coke for night in purchases such as renting a DVD with friends. They are allowed to live as Pepsi pays a higher profit margin than Coke.

Q. Was it sad to pull out the latest copy of "Convience Store Trends and Customer Profiles" to answer that question?

tukayaway 06 Jul 2005 23:52

No. If you have the information, you might as well use it.

What the hell is wrong with Pepsi? I can't stand coke, way too sweet and the diet version has no taste at all.

Chris 07 Jul 2005 00:36

I drink neither!!! Coke and Pepsi are stronger than most bleaches and if you have a stained enamel toilet, pouring 1 litre of drink into the bowl is enough in most cases to shift any stains faster than toilet cleaners!!! If that doesn't put you off them, nothing will!

Q. Why can you talk to someone without saying what you really want to say!

Rob The Badger 07 Jul 2005 01:52

Drinking Ouzo in a great bar in corfu all night then waking up the next afternoon behind the bar in the hotel with no memory of how you got the lovebite(s) on your shoulder and pink braids in your hair.

Anyone know of an interesting thing to do on a plane that doesnt involve copious amounts of random heavy metal and a book and is quite interesting?

tukayaway 10 Jul 2005 17:36
